Donât try to meet up with someone for lunch here, especially if you havenât seen them in awhile and youâre trying to catch up, the vibe is to eat quickly (and skip a few courses) and leave. I had an overall unpleasant time here on 4/22/21- I was greeted and sat by a nice host (red hair!) then our waitress was nice to begin, took our drink order, brought the drinks and coloring page for my son, and then we ordered- I ordered an appetizer, a 2 for $25 meal and my sons meal, then my grandmother ordered her meal. We never got our large appetizer, oh well, she must have noticed because it wasnât on the ticket even though I watched her write it down when I ordered it, it happens- our meals were very good, which is the best news of all. My salad was excellent. Corn on the cob was a bit over cooked but the chicken honey chipotle crispers, cajun chicken penne pasta, and chicken fajitas were bomb! Our waitress dropped by to ask if we needed anything, brought a ticket off to our table and brought us to-go boxes and we never saw her again. I mean, we SAW her, but she made a point to not look at us after some time, I assume because she decided we must be finished, we didnât need refills, we didnât have any questions or issues, she was just no longer serving our table .. even though I thought our dessert was surely eventually going to show up. Our 2 for $25 meal included a dessert, I watched her write down the dessert we picked, but nope, no dessert for me!!!!!! OK. I got annoyed while I was leaving and realized it then lol but didnât want to drive with it home, so my loss ??? I guess. Lol... I thought she would come back for the credit card but -she didnât - and about 35-40 mins after she left the ticket (because Iâm catching up with my grandmother and not in a hurry to leave immediately after eating) I realized we needed to use the tablet on the table to pay, which I know these things are used a bunch now, but maybe just remind my dummy head or my grandmother that we have to pay at the table? Last, there was a girl (curly blond) that clearly had an issue with us being there so long, she wasnât our waitress, we were just âaffectingâ her mood I guess - she gave several dirty looks in an attempt to make us uncomfortable? I donât understand but that was a weird experience overall and maybe too many young adults without the patience for the older/slower/leisurely crowd. We sat in a booth without a single person speaking to us for over 90 mins, didnât receive our appetizer, didnât receive our dessert, but received plenty of attitude which is the reason for the 2/5 for the...
Read moreWent to Chiliâs in Greenwood for lunch yesterday and accidentally left my phone on the table. When I noticed I immediately turned around and drove the 5 minutes back to the restaurant. In this time, approximately 10 minutes, the table had been cleaned off. The restaurant was not busy. I was told that there was only on e person clearing off tables and nobody turned it in. I did not have my Apple Watch with me to ping. I ended up making a police report as the restaurant couldnât find the phone. I drove home and got my watch, searched location and the phone pinged back to the restaurant in question. I headed back to the restaurant. This time my mother came out to see if she could hear the phone as I pinged the location, she could not but the phone stayed stationary until a little after 6 pm. My mother left the parking lot as I arrived. As she was about to leave a couple employees came to cars in the area. They were employees that helped us at our table. The first employee left, my phoneâs location stayed the same. However with the second car left my phone immediately started to ping in the direction of the car which plate numbers read CON952 a BLACK DODGE. The phone ended up being stationary over night in the 300 block of Eugene St. Indianapolis and moved about 4 minutes away this morning to 1054 W 31st St. Indianapolis, IN. I could not get a Greenwood cop to go to Indianapolis to retrieve the device due to being outside of jurisdiction. Indianapolis police wouldnât go out until the phone was stationary for 45 minutes and I wasnât waiting all night for whoever to sit still. The phone is probably destroyed in attempt to enter. Just wanted to vent and post that Chiliâs employees or at least one employee is dishonest and disrespectful. I can get a new phone, but since you ruined my day at least others can know your plate information and your whereabouts! Have a great day...
Read moreThis was the worst experience I've had at this chili's before and it honestly makes me not want to ever come back. It took us forever to get seated, but there was no line. We were just standing at the front waiting for hostess. Our waitress was extremely unattentive. I had to get up from the table or flag another waitress down to get a booster seat, refillls, and chips. Our food took forever to get out.. it was almost an hour and it was dead. It seemed like waitress forgot to put our order in and put it in late.
The 2nd piece to this experience was just other guests. There were 2 other families sitting by ours. One of the little girls kept running underneath our table and hiding from her parent. And then kept leaning into our table and touching people. Then the other family the kids were screaming and cussing. These families had multiple complaints against them, but were never spoken to. The entire restaurant was either looking for a waitress or rolling their eyes.
Lastly, there was no management presence and the place was not very clean. When I asked to talk to a manager from another waitress... no one came. Typically, you'll see the manager walk and greet guests. Ask about the experience or if anyone needs anything. I don't even know if a manager was there. But we were there for a long 2 hours with all of the waiting... and never saw a manager. Also, I could barely take my kids to the bathroom. My wife also had a bad experience with the women's bathroom. Both were extremely dirty and seemed like they haven't been cleaned at all.
Worst $80...
