I ordered a Large pepperoni with extra cheese. I called dominos to tell them I didn't think I had gotten what I ordered and he asked me if there was cheese covering the pepperoni and I told him "No"! Most of the corners in the middle didn't even have cheese on them. That was NOT what I ordered and I didn't see the extra cheese. In the picture u can plainly see the bubbled up dough in the center where I was talking about earlier and none of those areas even have cheese on them. If that's extra cheese then I'd hate to see what a regular pizza looks like without extra cheese. They did fix my order and sent me a new pizza with extra cheese. Now that's what I call an extra cheese pizza, unlike that first pizza. I guess that first pizza you COULD SAY has extra cheese on it if you count the 4 pieces of pepperoni with an extra speck of cheese on them if you want to be technical.
The driver Vincent who delivered my pizza got a flat tire with my first pizza so my pizza sat in the vehicle for 40min getting cold while he was changing a tire. I understand that stuff happens. Normally I always tip something even with bad service but this time I didn't. I called about my pizza order being messed up and not hot and Dominos made me a new pizza and delivered it to me. Vincent delivered the new pizza to me and this time was VERY RUDE. His attitude was uncalled for. He had such an attitude on him when he brought my replacement pizza. I showed him the first pizza and he said there was extra cheese on that pizza even though you can see in the picture the bubbled up dough and no cheese at all. You don't see the bubbled dough in the second pizza bc you wont when it is made correctly, (meaning extra cheese weighs on the dough and the dough can't bubble up when being cooked). I told the guy Chris that I talked to that I could send him a picture or drive it up there myself and he said that wouldn't be necessary. I'm not someone whose trying to get a free pizza and I offered to show him what I was talking about. I would've happily given the first pizza back bc it wasn't what I ordered and me and the kids can't eat two pizza's anyway. With the delivery guy Vincent's attitude, makes me kind of leery on even touching that replacement pizza but I'm not sure I trust him not to have spit on it or something during delivery. I'm not accusing him or saying he did anything to my food because I DO NOT KNOW if he did anything or not, I'm just saying with the attitude he showed up with at my door, I wouldn't put it past him because unfortunately some people actually will and have done it so it makes me leery to even touch it or if I should just throw the whole thing away. One thing I do know though is I won't be ordering pizza from them ever again. Sad thing is, that's only the second time I have ordered from Dominos and it will be the last.
Their pizza's are good from what I've had, I love their garlic crusts pizza's. My only complaint was my order was messed up, pizza was lukewarm (almost cold) after sitting 40min outside in the cold for Vincent to change his tire. He did call me to tell me my pizza would be late but even then I thought he had a small attitude on the phone but I blamed it on the fact he had a flat tire. There was absolutely no reason for Vincent to have an attitude when he delivered my replacement pizza. I gave them one star for the terrible customer service I got from the delivery guy.
EDITED REVIEW:
That second pizza that LOOKED like it had extra cheese. Turns out all he did was put the pepperoni directly on the crust and the cheese on top of it so it looks like it's super cheesy... turns out it's...
Read moreI would like to give some props where props is due. First off, I have never been much of a fan of Dominos Pizza, not because their food is nasty or anything like that, but just because I have most generally always have leaned toward Pizza Hut Pizza. Itâs a taste preference thing. Though I must point out, I am a huge fan of good customer service. And not the fake kind, that you find in a lot of fast food joints where the management forces by policy, their employees to act or say certain words or phrases to make it seem like they are genuinely interested in making sure you have a good experience at their facility, (chick-fil-a). Itâs pretty easy to pick up on genuine hospitality and genuine concern for others. I would like to point out that this south side Dominos has given me this genuine, heartfelt customer service everytime I have been in their building. Especially the manager. Donât know his name, yet. But this guy is down to earth and very respectable and you can see that he has a genuine concern for the welfare of his staff and his business. I have witnessed him on more than one occasion go above and beyond for his customers to make sure their wrongs were righted or that they had everything they needed so that when they walked away from his counter, they felt they had been properly squared away with respect and genuine concern. I rolled up last night at about 12:30 am, had ordered online some lava cakes for carry out. Walked in and got the usual treatment from this manager that I have come to greatly appreciate and respect. Treated me like we were homeboys back in high school. I loved it. Anyway, I canât say this about the Pizza Hut down by Ray Skillman in Greenwood. Their customer service is POOR at best. Not overly friendly and more business than welcoming has always been my experience there. In conclusion, I would like to add that it wouldnât be very hard for me to spend my pizza money somewhere, where I know I am gonna get treated like I work there and I am part of the team. That I am greeted with a warm and welcoming smile and a little camaraderie and harmless banter. That goes a long way with me. So here your props Dominos. Keep up the good work yaâll are doing over there. Keepingâ it real and loving on your customers. I will definitely be back to this store location for some...
Read moreThis is my usual store to order from, but on March 29th I was given a raw doughed pizza twice in a row. I called and talked to the store after the first one was brought home and I took a bite and it was so gross and raw (and not hot, shouldâve been my first clue), they remade it for me, but the second one was more uncooked than the first one. The cheese was melted, but it was a pan style pizza and when my husband picked up a piece it started actually coming apart, the dough was still so raw. It wasnât worth the hassle of calling and trying again. I just cooked my own dinner so I didnât get food poisoning. I filled out the online web form and included pictures where the dough was visibly raw, and havenât heard anything from the store or Dominoâs corporate. Iâm just going to make my own pizza or go to another chain from now on. There were a lot of ânewâ people working that night, but serving people raw dough is a serious health and safety concern. I believe the error was they were trying to cook it like a regular hand tossed and the pan style is thicker, therefore common sense would say the temperature probably needs adjusted and the pizza cooked for longer. Very disappointed. Luckily I was only out $2 because I used a free pizza redemption and paid the up charge for the pan.
My concern is how many other people did they serve raw food to, and why havenât I heard back from anyone about my case I submitted? It was straight up gooey pizza - and not in a good way. This is my first bad experience with this location, but it ruined it for me for the...
