If you have a couple of hours to burn, this is your place. 1 hour wait...no big deal, we knew what we were signing up for. It was the service afterward that was "meh".

After being seated & ordering drinks after waiting for a waiter for about 10 min we chatted & watched the table next to us get seated. We ordered 4 margaritas & water so did they. There's came right out. We continued to wait & wait & wait. After about 15 or so minutes we tracked down a hostess to get the server to come back out so we could ask about our drinks. He brought them several mi utes later. When I did get my drink, it was the wrong flavor & had to send it back. The margarita had a slight hint of mold taste to it. I drank about 5 sips & left it so I switched to the water that I never got the lemons that I asked for 3 times.

The salsa was fire hot. Way too hot for the kids that were with us so they skipped on it & waited for the queso (that was placed with our drink order) which we continued to wait, wait, wait on well past the time we ordered our drinks.

We're ready for the food & it smells great! 6 of us got our food. The 7th person with us got his as we were just about finishing our meals. I ordered fajitas & never got shells. I'm not sure if they came with any because I didnt see my waiter again until after I was finished with my meal. Fajitas only come with beans & rice...no lettuce, tomatoes, guac....just beans & rice.

Got the $52 bill for 3 of the 7 of us (prices are a bit high for mediocre food & extremely slow service) & decided this would be it for us for awhile.

People in the area have asked me if I've tried this place. Now I have & have an experience to speak to.

On a positive note...the chips were...

After reading the reviews of this somewhat new to the area Mexican place, we decided to give it a shot. Having heard of the super long wait times, we figured if it was bad, we would just pop down 135 and go to our fav Mexican place, Margarita's. We must have planned perfectly as the place was almost empty and we were seated right away! This was a Saturday evening too! However, I believe the caveat here is that pretty much all of Indy was being absolutely pounded by thunderstorms, and Beech Grove even had a tornado, so I think everyone else was hunkered down at home! Anyway, our waiter arrived promptly, and we ordered a big Texas Margarita to share. It arrived promptly, accompanied by a basket of chips and salsa (I also ordered cheese for dipping). The Margarita was really good, although I still have to give our other fav place a higher score for overall flavor. Chips could have been a bit crisper and fresher, salsa was tasty, cheese was plentiful and piping hot! My husband ordered the Golden Enchiladas, which were really good (I think I would choose those on a possible repeat visit!) while I got the very generous Texas Fajitas. I wish the veggies were chopped just a bit thinner, as some of the pieces were really quite large and chunky, for putting in a soft fajita shell. To finish things off, we had their fried ice cream, which gets 4 thumbs up from us! Prices were quite reasonable, and overall service was really good, though we did have to wait a while for our check (no idea why). Would I go there again? Sure! Would I wait 45 mins for a table, like some folks have had to do? Umm no. I would drive 10 mins down the road and go to...

Was looking up Mexican restaurants in Greenwood and this place had very good reviews, so I decided to try it one day for takeout. I was surprised at the huge bag they gave me when I went to pick up. Besides the three tacos I ordered, I also got chips and salsa with my order, and beans and rice, so that was a lot of food for a great price. So I got the Tacos Trio, Which is three different tacos. I was pleased that they were authentic with only meat, cilantro, and onion, but the meat on all of them was so dry I could barely get it down. The chips were good though. So then I just figured that was a bad day, and I would try the place again with my husband because he was wanting Mexican, and as I said earlier, thy have pretty great reviews. This time we dined in and I ordered the Texas Nachos, that have steak, shrimp, and chicken on them. That was dry too and not seasoned at all, and the cheese was hard (weird). All it was was the protein, cheese, and chips, I would've thought they would've added more to the nachos. My husband ordered the Burrito Americano and he didn't like his at all, said it wasn't seasoned, and it came with fries that he didn't care for, although I thought the fries were decent lol. I will say one thing we absolutely LOVED, was the queso with meat and chips, that was sooooooo good, we would go back just to get that lol. I do like the atmosphere and look of the restaurant, and the fact that the prices are very good, especially compared to how much food you get, but the food just isn't that good. It looks good, they do great on presentation lol, the taste just...

Muy bien. Soy un gran fan de Luciana's. Very Good. I'm a big fan of Luciana's. Seating you'll find a mix of wood padded chairs to more robust high-back booths. You may also belly up to the bar and order yourself a cerveza, vino or bebida mixta. Chips were served warm....apparently they make those in-house or warm before serving. Salsa was good, with a mid to lower level spice. Salsa had more of a Tomato-Eee base. Guacamole as an added side was fresh and creamy. I hate the street taco trio. Nice size portion. Wife-E had the Seafood Chimichanga. The red vino (wine) was a nice selection. Margarita was supersize....and Wife-E mentioned ("not as sweet") as other Cantinas, and she preferred Luciana's. Now, all that said, be mindful of their peak business hours. 6-830 the place is standing rook only. Arrive early or bring your patience. You can expect slower service during peak hours, but very friendly service. If you're the impatient sort, order two beers, two margaritas or two Vinos. Return service can take a bit. Entrees may take up to 30 minutes+ but you won't be disappointed.
