If I could rate this place a zero I absolutely positively would. I haven't been to McAlister's in quite some time. I was so excited about dining there tonight. Now I'll never return again. Upon arriving there were over eight employees behind the counter having what seemed to be recess. My order was placed and after grabbing my utensils and condiments I patiently waited for my order to come up...After fifteen minutes passed by the young who originally took my order realized I was still there. He asked his Co worker Logan where order 132 was. Logan snarred at him and told him he didn't know. Logan told his Co worker the receipt for 132 was never placed. Five minutes after this I attempted to get the managers attention to ask if I could accept whatever was ready that I had to go. The manager told the young man named Logan to turn around and be courteous and ask me what I ordered. Logan slammed his hand down on the metal counter as hard as he could shaking it in attempts to get his manager to stop speaking to him. At this point a second manager tells Logan and another young man to apologize for the wait and to turn around and ask my order. Logan yelled at both managers in front of the customers and other employees and said he heard me say my order already. He never turned at either managers request nor made eye contact with me as if it was repulsive to look at me. I was very concerned, embarrassed, and felt very awkward by this young man's behavior. His face was red and he was very angry. I waited a total of 37 minutes on a to go order. I only ordered a cup of vegan chili, a ham and cheese kid meal. Very simple very quick. The second manager a younger African American gentleman was very apologetic when bringing my order and included several freebies. I appreciated his efforts but I refuse to return. To feel as if an employee (Logan) is going to attack his superior at any moment is very uncomfortable. For someone to be demanded to greet you twice and they down right refuse is awkward and very disrespectful to say the least. Until this kid is fired and the managers put their feet down for the sake of professionalism I will not return or recommend...

Update 4/13 7:50pm Changed my 5 stars to 1 for them being extremely rude to me.
Stood for 8 minutes before they stopped their conversation and then wait 3 more minutes to catch someone to ask for help. All I wanted was a lemonade. The first guy, dark hair, was REALLY RUDE he was the shift lead annoyed he'd possibly have to help someone instead of count cash. Says 'Ugh. I'll get someone' he goes and whispers something to the blonde male kid who rung me up and he was even more rude! He said 'What do you want' I said a lemonade please. He exhaled really loud as if I just ruined his entire evening. Grabs my drink and slams it back on the counter. THEN GOES BACK OVER TO HIS BUDDIES TALKING RUDE ABOUT ME WHEN ALL I ASKED WAS FOR A LEMONADE PLEASE š
The Sunday crew here is notorious for not being on their game but tonight was plain disrespectful and this evening crew needs retrained, that guy should not be a shift lead and he should have not let his co-worker treat a paying customer this way. I come here multiple times a week and have never been treated so bad. I will be also sending an email to corporate over this issue...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIām giving 2 stars because I have generally had positive experiences at this location. Unfortunately I was there yesterday and ordered the Southwest Cobb without chicken. When it was brought to my table I found chicken in it. I only picked out one piece, but once I saw more I sent it back. When I sent it back I apologized for sending it back and explained the reason I asked for no chicken was because Iām a vegetarian and meat makes me sick. I didnāt owe them an apology or an explanation, but I gave it because I respect the fact that they may not want to remake a salad for small pieces of chicken. The manager or chef (Iām not sure) came out to my table to tell me there was no chicken in it (basically saying I was lying), so I showed him the one small piece I had pulled out. He apologized and brought out a new salad. I know it was new because I had already put dressing on the first one. I checked it for chicken and didnāt see any so I ate it. After I left, I immediately started feeling sick and having stomach pain. So, though I have no proof, I believe they intentionally hid chicken in the salad because apparently vegetarians offend them... or at least the people who were in the kitchen after...
