This was my first time visiting big red liquors on the south side, had no intention of going until my friend said he needed to look for a special type of bourbon that you can only find at big red. So we went, and I must say visually it's a very cool store! I love how it's set up and organized into different sections. The selection here is insane! Truly I've never seen so many choices of alcohol, and I found different options that I didn't know existed. My intention was to not purchase anything, but I found a good deal on Johnny walker red but the game of thrones version. For a steal of 15 dollars! I couldn't pass it up! Another awesome feature of this store is that you can taste things! How could you go wrong with that, Right in the middle is a tasting bar, you just let them know what you are interested in trying and they will pour you a generous but legal portion to try out. This was the most disguising experience I’ve ever had at a liquor store. I have been to many big reds before and have never had customer service this deplorable before. I was checked out by an older man who made it apparent that I didn’t know initially where the checkout line was yet I’ve never been to this location. after he rudely asks for my Id he then berates me saying that I’m a brand new owner of a bottle of alcohol. Staff was so rude...I had found an imported beer online that said it was available there but the girl refused to come out from behind the register (even though there was only two people in the store) she was continually playing on her phone. First she argued with me that they didn't carry it so I had to pull it up on my phone and show that it was located at her store.
