Sunshine Breakfast House & Grill — Restaurant in Greenwood

I came here with a friend last week and I was so surprised it was not PACKED on a Saturday morning at 8 am. The atmosphere was lovely and I was not expecting how much I was going to enjoy the food. I decided to try the stuffed French Toast which was filled with a cream similar to banana pudding and it was topped with fresh banana and Nutella. Literally my jaw was on the floor. I got a side of home potatoes and they didn’t even really need sauce or seasonings because it was so flavorful on its own. It was perfectly crisp on the outside and soft and pillowy on the inside. Like the attention to detail was kinda crazy? Although I will say if you’re going to get the peach tea, it is sickeningly sweet and I would opt to get it with less syrup or just try a different beverage. I definitely wanted this to be one of the better places we attended because of all of the Hispanics working but from the start my wife wasn't greeted with a happy mother's day while other pale women walked in and were not only greeted with a smile but also flowers hand made by the staff. It was very disheartening to see and experience while being left sitting with very little support and interaction while others were met with lots of smiles and laughter. We had to ask the kitchen staff for silverware. Between the other rude guest and the staff whom seem to only focus on the pale customers we won't be returning...

My partner and I started out late for breakfast time 1:30 p.m. to First Watch on US 31.

I said lets find another breakfast restaurant First Watch close at 2:00 pm the food will be old as in Grits. Let's just drive till we locate a breakfast restaurant so glad we did he saw Sunshine Breakfast said let's go there so glad we did.

The food was absolutely amazing Chicken and Waffle with Grilled Hash Browns were good. I forgot to take pitures of his Fluffy Pancakes with Indy Omelet with fresh spinach top with Avocado slices he stated it was delicious. To top it off the coffee was on point 100%.
