Waffle House — Restaurant in Greenwood

I am here to say that my sister and I came out to Greenwood to get facials and a manicure and of course to have a nice brunch over good conversation. Well everything did not go as planned after leaving the Waffle House. We walked in and we sat down, it was extremely cold inside and we still sat to place a order. My sister ordered the BLT with hashbrowns and I ordered Bacon scrambled eggs hashbrowns and a waffle. When the server brought me the bacon it was super burnt it broke into pieces while holding it so I had asked for new bacon. Then after 10 minutes my waffle was still not brought to the table and my food was getting extremely cold at that point so I had asked what was the hold up and the lady Crystal which I believe was a manager had said “well there are only two waffle makers” so I replied that is fine but why not communicate this so my other food does not get cold while waiting. She walked off and said to her coworker loud enough so I can hear that she doesn’t deal with that type of situation or things and cut the other lady take care of it which was her coworker. I then felt uncomfortable at that point and lost my appetite all because Crystal was very rude and did not take care of the situation. Also all seven of the coworkers there did not have on hairnets and me being in a beautician field if you have split ends your hair will drop out of your head easily and also FYI the syrup bottles for cake was syrup on top and looked extremely distasteful someone needs to investigate my sister and I were very disappointed we are now at the blueberry pancake house… Crystal do better with your customer service and don’t talk so loud where the customer can hear you… Also it is ok to...

First of all this is waffle house so you can't have too high of expectations.with that being said, the food has always been good. Service wise though it isn't the worst, but definitely isn't the best. Usually the server has little interaction with you other than taking your order. At least that was how our server was today. She wasn't the friendliest person I've ever met. She took our order and didn't screw it up, which is a plus. When our food did come out it was good and hot. She also did a nice job keeping our drinks full. Since the kitchen is out in the open and ready for the world to see, its always fun just to watch how they all interact with each other. They of course do so in a professional manner but also bark out orders to each other. If you want decent food at really cheap pricing then this is totally the place for you...but only if you can turn a blind eye to the below...

Morgan, our waitress was very sweet and our food was brought quickly even though they were busy and it was delicious. So we decided to come back but our second visit was horrible. The cook didn't understand the concept of scrambled eggs vs. fried eggs and when I recommended that he scramble them prior to cooking them in the skillet he got an attitude and the waitress started arguing with me about the difference. If you go, definitely get Waffles not eggs. I wouldn't go back if they weren't so close but the Waffles are an ok backup when the wait for Denny's is too long and we don't feel like cooking or have time to drive to IHOP or...
