I am not sure what happened to Wendy's especially this location but my family is done trying to go to any Wendy's. Went to this location on Rocklane rd yesterday around 1pm. First the older lady that took our order and payment was nice but then all turned horrible once we got to food pickup window. Younger kid working getting snappy and arguing with us when we asked if all sauces were in the bag, no response, window shut, we said excuse me can we have the sauces and abruptly "here" almost throwing sauces at us. Then checking the food everything was wrong. Jr bacon was just meat and cheese, grilled chicken deluxe was a single fired piece of chicken with some orange sauce that was sit. My Asiago bacon chicken was also just a piece of chicken with sauce. I took the sandwiches back in and the manager tried to justify why everything was missing because they were out of lettuce. But everything else was missing. So another worker younger lady asked what do you want. So I replied I just want what I ordered. I also didn't get a receipt to prove which were ordered. Given 2 "new" sandwiches and I walked out. Once again both were wrong. This time they did add pickles but the same situation nothing else besides sauce. I will never go back. Read moreWent to the drive through Friday evening around 8pm. Placed order, pulled around and noticed 2 cars had already pulled ahead past the pick up window waiting on food. I received my drinks and was told to pull over to the parking spots and my food would be delivered. 15 minutes later the 2 vehicles that were there when I arrived finally received their food. Meanwhile I now have 3 more cars waiting next to me for food. A worker comes out and tries to give the car next to me food and he turns them away because it’s not his order. They go back inside. About a minute later someone brings me “my food” and leaves. I look inside the bag and see that this is not my food order at all! Another worker is now at the car next to me speaking with the car about their order. There is probably 3 more cars now that have placed orders and are waiting as well. I roll down my window and let the worker know that this is not my food. She tells me she has no idea what my food order is and what I want her to do about it. I told her to take this food, I was there about 30 mines now and I was done for the night. We then went through the drive through at McDonald’s, placed order, got food and within 2 minutes were in our way. Bottom line, do not bother with this Wendy’s. While the staff member who took my order was friendly and accommodating, the issues began when I received my meal. The burger contained mustard—something I am allergic to.
After requesting a replacement, I spoke with a woman, possibly the manager, who appeared frustrated at the need to remake my order. Her attitude and the comments she made under her breath made me uncomfortable, but I continued to explain my allergy and simply asked for the correct meal. When I received the second burger, it still had mustard on it. The manager insisted there was no mustard on the burger.
I then requested a refund, only to be refused by the manager, who claimed it would negatively affect her numbers. This response, prioritizing business over customer health, was deeply troubling. It was clear that the manager's focus was on her metrics, not ensuring the safety or well-being of customers. I expected better customer service and more professionalism, especially when it came to something as serious as a food allergy.
