Wish I could leave no stars. Had the worst customer service experience that I’ve ever had in my life. Was left hanging at the order monitor for 15 minutes, and after receiving a lot of pressure from people behind me to pull up, was greeted by a woman at the window with a horrible attitude who basically gave me an angry lecture on why I shouldn’t have done that. It was clear that this woman was also the one taking orders as she had a headset on. My intention was not to fuss about the wait or make a big deal of it. I genuinely did not know what to do. She took my order at the window but I left feeling extremely shook up and also intimidated by the hostility that this worker showed me. I understand low staffing, but my suggestion would be to check in with the customer at the monitor if they’ve been waiting a while and let them know you still need some time. If she would’ve done that, none of this would’ve ever happened. What I mean by this is not just telling them to hold, when they first get to the monitor (which she DID do granted), but coming back and telling them it’ll be just another few minutes before we can take your order. Or simply saying we are extremely low staffed and it may be a while before I can get to you. Calling corporate on Monday morning and telling them everything. I will also be notifying all my friends and family not to go there until I can ensure this person will not be working there. This happened on Sunday Aug 20th around 12:30-1:00. A polite explanation and even if she’d have asked me to pull back around that would’ve been fine since I broke the rule of not ordering at the monitor, but I genuinely didn’t know what to do. She was so fast to get defensive with me. Her response would’ve lead you to believe that I cussed her out but I did not even raise my voice. All I did was explain that I had not ordered yet and tell them my reason why. I figured the worst they’d say would’ve been “I’m sorry, but you really should’ve waited. I’m going to have to ask you to pull back around.” Instead, the worker chose to get angry. She did not yell, but her tone was still very hostile and unpleasant. And when I tried to explain myself again, she interrupted me and tried to talk over me. Please note that I did not act disrespectfully. I was not even mad about the situation until she acted the way she did, then I felt really hurt. All I was trying to do was pull around and check and make sure there was not a problem with the monitor as I even tried talking to make sure I hadn’t been forgotten and got no response before pulling around. Very unprofessional. I’m not saying I wasn’t wrong not to wait on the monitor but the associate could’ve handled this so much better...
Read moreThis location is just terrible. The employees here clearly do not have customers service experience. I got the chicken supreme combo with an extra biscuit. Before I left the parking lot I checked my food & good thing I did. I was missing the second biscuit I order, but they didn’t forget to charge me for it, but besides that the biscuit I did get was literally still raw and it was completely flat. It was not a biscuit. I drove around to ask for a new biscuit and the missing one but before I could even finish my sentence about the missing biscuit the lady closed the drive thru window. I got my new biscuit and it was still raw and completely flat and of course I didn’t get the missing one. At that point, it wasn’t worth my time to try to get a decent biscuit so I went inside to get a refund and the lady at the fry station saw me, yelled across the kitchen for me to come to the end of the counter and asked me what the problem was & I told her the situation and she literally started talking about me as I was standing there. I mean at least have the decency to wait until I leave to talk about me. Excuse me for wanting properly cooked food. And the lady who was making the biscuits had the most annoyed look on her face when she was told the biscuits were still raw. These women were full grown adults, older than me, and they were being this rude. I just wonder if they would be ok being treated that way and receiving that kind of food if they were the customer. The answer is no. All of this to say save yourself the time and annoyance and go to the South Buncombe location instead because I went there after and the difference was...
Read moreAs a former general manager of Bojangles myself I was completely disappointed at this location. Serving biscuits with burnt bottoms that are as hard as a rock that'll break your teeth is not acceptable. Also serving a chicken breast biscuit or the breast is so thin there's no chicken it's just all fried is disgusting I would never serve that to a customer when I was running Bojangles we kept high quality products coming to the customer constantly. Not to mention my meal is a combo and I did not receive my coffee when we tried to go back inside to get it the line was outrageously long and no one would speak to us when we walk to the side of the counter.
I'm battling stage 4 cancer so I don't have a lot of energy or not physically able to just stand there it's just very disappointing because management has no excuse for this and those are the only individuals in that location to blame it is not the employees it goes right to the managers. I would fire all my shift managers and is a GM I would run the store myself open the clothes everyday until I can find competent people.... Unless someone reaches out to me I probably will not try that location again which is closest to my home. Truly sad if they want to expand into Las Vegas which my friends are buying franchises I'm going to warn them to put out the best quality product. I've advised them some things already since they could not buy a...
