RiffRaff Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Greer

Went here on a Tuesday evening. Place was about 30% full. Plenty of seating available and in a variety of configurations. Booths, high chairs etc. with plenty of TV's with several Sports channels playing. Lively place and it appeared that there were a couple of groups of friends hanging out and enjoying a good ole time! Service was friendly though slow at times. I ordered the RiffRaff Burger with Blue cheese and fries. It was cooked to my request and the quantities were huge! The portion of fries I could swear will be too much for 2 people to finish (let alone one). I could not finish all of the burger, fries and cole slaw that I ordered. Not happy with their environmental footprint. I had asked for ketchup. While most places just hand you the Ketchup bottle to squeeze it out of, this place gives it to you in a separate plastic cup with a lid. I see ABSOLUTELY no need to throw away yet another piece of plastic for something that could have quite easily been squeezed out of a bottle. Also, I wish they had asked me if I needed a straw with my drink! Partly my fault because I forget to remind the waiter that I dont need a straw. We weren't there at a very busy time so I can't speak the usual atmosphere. It's a smaller place so I suppose it could get crowded easily. We were there around 4 pm. There were two full tables and a few people scattered at the bar, which is where we sat. They had more waitresses and servers than necessary for the size of the crowd, yet we still had trouble getting their attention, which is why it lost a couple stars from me. Most of them seemed friendly, but one particular girl definitely should not have been working behind a bar. She was sticking with two seats and not moving to any other part of the bar while other servers were cleaning and answering questions for customers. When we did get her attention, she was rude for no reason so we started waiting for another bartender to get back from other areas before ordering anything. We plan to go back and check it out during a busy time because it wasn't so bad that we'd never go back, but it also wasn't the best first impression from the staff. FYI, their red, white, and blue daiquiri is insanely sweet so if you don't like rich things, try a different cocktail. If you ask, they will tell you up front so I don't knock them for that. This is not what I would call a bar. It is more of a small restaurant that has a bar in it. Their food is absolutely delicious, I was pleasantly surprised at how good it genuinely was. I had the hangover grilled cheese sandwich that has their house made pinto cheese on it with bacon and jalapenos in the side. it is some of the best pimiento cheese I have had in a long time, served on buttered Texas toast and comes with your pick of tots or fries. The toys were perfect. Also at our table was a philly cheese steak hoagie also was great, and a chicken tender salad that was huge!!! All the portions were large and very filling. We ended up taking food home. They have draft and bottled beers, not a huge selection but alot of the favorites along with a rotating. The inside is done so well with an interesting Graffiti accent wall, and of course a wall of dog pictures and loved family pets. It was so cute we all kept looking through all the photos. Plus the diamond plaited metal chandeliers were amazing and we need one in our man cave at home lol. So all in all 5 out of 5 stars and I will definitely be going back again!
