So I order two bowls, and this young lady behind the counter scoops a half spoon of rice and a half spoon of beans into the first bowl. I say hey can you add some more? What, rice? I wanted to say well yeah what did you just put on, duh of course. Then I look at the chicken… its dried crusted bits and scraps she is scraping from the bottom of the pan. I ask do you have more chicken? Fresh chicken? “Well yeah but it has to be cut up.” So I just stood there in amazement of the stupidity and said well Ok, cut it up then. She proceeded to continue to scrape the bottom of the pan. Excuse me I need fresh chicken please. I nearly asked her if she wanted me to cut it up. I could have done that 1/4 pan in 2 mins flat. I finally had to say please make another. Eye rolls… then a guy produces another 1/3 pan of fresh already cut up chicken. Funny how that happens. Now there are five workers behind the line. The first two ladies seem brain dead. Believe it or not… there are those of us who have been professional chefs for longer than these kids have been alive, who have worked in a variety of restaurants, who can walk in and immediately list several health code violations and issues within 5 seconds. But being in the industry for 40 plus years I also know what is critical and what can be overlooked. The food quality here has gone downhill big time since opening… and portions are much smaller. Some longer-term staff are solid. The new folks suck. Training is not happening. And I know because I am here at least once week. And I know because everyone has different portion sizes, and everyone makes their bowls and burritos...
Read moreUsually I love Chipotle, but last night I ordered ahead on the app to pick up in the drive thru. I arrived & it said my order was ready for pick up. Got to the window & had to wait a couple minutes for someone to come over. (I was the only car in the drive thru and one person was ordering inside with several workers looking like they weren’t doing much.) She handed me a bag & started to go away - I asked about my large drink, she asked what it was suppose to be, I said large watermelon limeade. She walked casually away. After a longer then expected time she came back with a regular cup of the limeade. I asked if that was the large size, she said, oh no. Sorry. Then again went away for a bit and finally arrived with my drink. I got to where I was going, opened my salad and there was no lettuce at all in my salad or guacamole that I had paid extra for. There also was no fork, dressing or napkins in the bag. I definitely missed the lettuce & guacamole in my what should have been salad. Probably won’t be going there again for a while…especially for the price I paid compared to what I received. Service also was extremely slow & they were not...
Read moreI hate having to do this, but this is the worst location of a Chipotle I have ever used. It's unfortunate because it's super close to me and convenient. It would be convenient if my orders were correct. I have done four pickup orders and in those orders something is wrong every time. It's a consistent issue which is why I'm putting such a poor review. Typically the chips are missing or the drinks are wrong for my kids. Today the same thing happened with missing chips, and I got an extra order steak bowl with queso. So I guess I went home with someone else's food. I've called Chipotle's main customer service line, and gone through them to complain officially. They will be contacting the store and hopefully they'll do something about it. Do all the customers who are doing pick up orders, y'all need to pay close attention to what's in your bag. Whoever is managing this Chipotle needs to get it together because y'all are...
