Oh, say can you see... by the dawn's early light, El Jalisco in Greer, SC, standing there like the Statue of Liberty, welcoming all hungry patriots to a fiesta of flavors! 🎆🌮

El Jalisco is the Paul Revere of Mexican cuisine, riding through the town of Greer, shouting, "The delicious food is coming!" With a 4.4-star rating on the culinary constitution, this place serves up dishes that'll make you pledge allegiance to the salsa².

Let's taco 'bout the menu—it's like the Bill of Rights for your appetite. The Fajita Quesadilla is a melting pot of cheesy goodness, and the Taco Salad? It's like the Grand Canyon of greens—vast and awe-inspiring². And if you're feeling brave, try the Camarones A la Diabla—it's as bold as the Declaration of Independence itself!

Now, some say the salsas are as bland as a congressional hearing, but I say they're the perfect backdrop for the fireworks of flavors in every bite². And the service? It's as friendly as Uncle Sam on the Fourth of July—efficient, helpful, and always sporting a star-spangled smile².

Sure, the prices might be a tad higher than the average, but can you really put a price on culinary freedom? I think not! Plus, the portions are as generous as America's heartland—enough to satisfy the hunger of a continental army².

In the land of the free and the home of the brave, El Jalisco stands tall as a beacon of taste and hospitality. So, next time you're in Greer, SC, march down to El Jalisco, where every meal is a victory parade for your taste buds. And remember, folks, in the United States of America, we have the freedom to choose—and my choice is a table at El Jalisco, where every bite is a star-spangled banner of...

I've lived in Greer for a little under a year. And I go to this location on average once a week and have been doing so since I've lived here. Let me give you the run-down.

The entire staff here is hard-working, attentive, and passionate about making you have a good experience. I have had the opportunity to talk to and deal with every person that works on the front-end. Every single person has a smile on their face and is incredibly kind and welcoming to everyone they come in contact with.

The quality of the food is impeccable and my partner and I like to call it our comfort food, because we can always rely on our orders to be correct, well-cooked, perfectly made, and filling for the amount of food you get and the endless soda refills. Over the course of 10 months, coming here once a week EVERY week, they have only made minor mistakes with our food TWICE. Which goes to show you the ratio of how often they will get it right.

WE LOVE EJ! And have also tried out one of their other locations in the area, but it just wasn't as good as the Greer location. I think what makes the Greer EJ so special is the people that work there. Because it's a great team of people that treat you like family every time you come in. Their attention to detail, speedy service, and social warmth is what keeps us coming back. You have a...

I've been coming to El Jalisco since 2020 and I always order the same exact thing. So, imagine my shock last week when my plate was extremely lacking. Every single time I've had leftovers. But this time I barely had enough to feel half full. So I asked the waiter if maybe I got a kids portion or the lunch portion. He said no, this is all the dinner comes with. Like I haven't ordered it 20+ times. I had also ordered a large cheese dip with my food. It was not brought out. Needless to say I was not pleased. There was no offer to fix the issue or have the manager address it. Which would have been an easy fix considering how slow the restaurant was. Instead, the entire meal nobody came to refill our drinks and nobody came to see if we needed anything including a box or the check. I felt extremely disrespected by this experience and will not return until I'm given an apology for this poor customer service. I will no longer recommend El Jalisco. There are too many other Mexican restaurants that value...

I was excited when someone reviewed this as the best tacos in town. Let me tell you, it can't be the best or get 5stars from me if they don't make their own taco shells fresh. This is about as basic as you can get, street tacos. Except I make them better at home all the time. I have no complaints about the food, just underwhelming overall. Yeah, I'd eat here again for sure but I would not come here for tacos, sorry... They do have liquor here but option are really limited. Parking is tight as well. Prices are fair and service is average.

Service was friendly but not on it. They forgot to bring out my son's rice and beans. It took maybe 6 to 8 minutes for them to bring out two chicken tenders with 🍟 and that was after we had said something. A party of 10 nobody got refills on drinks. The food was OK. It's pretty much just like most of the Mexican American places around. Nothing special but nothing bad. I will say it was on a Sunday after church. There was not a table open. The people around here must really like this place. I'll have to give them another chance.
