I went yesterday evening and ordered food and milkshakes, the order was wrong, the milkshakes we not correct. At the drive thru i had them remake then only to have them be incorrect again. I left not satisfied but the stress of it all rendered me exhausted. I called Jennifer today she is supposed to be a mgr. Explained my experience she said she would gladly replace them and in fact apologized for the mistake. I got there this evening Jennifer was still there and wanted to give me the third degree as if we had not spoken earlier, she wanted a receipt, I understand that however had she asked me when I called him home to bring it with I could have located at a problem. Instead she made me feel like I was trying to get something for free in front of a bunch of other customers which again rendered me exhausted. The young lady cashier could see my anxiety and apologize and said they were very busy last night Saturday night, I don't care how busy you are if you're too busy to produce and use your job step aside. I've never had this experience with cookout before again she acted like I wanted something for free I assured her I did not they were going back and forth to give him some milkshake not to give them up shake at which point I said I don't really care charge me don't charge me make them don't make them but figure it out and get me out of here at which point Jennifer told cashier ring up the three milkshakes. I paid for them and left with three milkshakes normally that would be the end of my story, I get home and two of them are strawberry cheesecake and one of them is hardly any strawberry at all I definitely know cheesecake looked like a vanilla shake pitiful. All kinds of excuses I heard I don't want to hear excuses I want service and I want correct orders that's not asking too much in fact it's not even asking enough should be above and beyond the correct order you should have apologized and done her job correctly signed...
Read moreI have never had such a horrible experience in any restaurant I’ve been to. The girl taking my order had an attitude and tolled her eyes when I asked how many of a food item I had ordered to make sure I had enough food for my kids… She asked if I wanted a drink I said water as we don’t like to drink soda if we don’t have to, she charged me for a large tea, I let her know that their was a mistake with the drink order and she said ( while rolling her eyes) “you don’t have to get tea you can get water to drink” I let her know that I didn’t want to pay $3 for a drink then just get water. She rolled her eyes and turned her body away from me…. The drink machine on the left wasn’t working so I went to the right side and didn’t see where the water was for me to get the water I actually wanted and asked multiple times if anyone knew where the water was and the girl sitting at the table ignored me so I got ice and a quarter of a cup of some fruity drink I didn’t want either…. The employee sitting at the table walks up to me and says “ you made a big deal about paying for a drink and stole drink” I told her I asked where the water was multiple times, and I would prefer water but didn’t see anywhere on the drink machine that worked where is said water. She shows me a spout ( not labeled water and nothing on it said water) so I poured my drink out happily and she continued to berate me for “stealing drink” I let her know I preferred water and don’t steal that I didn’t know that was the water because nothing on the machine was labeled water. She was in my face during all of this saying “you’re just mad that you got caught stealing” I will never be back to this establishment as all of this took place in front of my friends and family. This was suppose to be a Christian establishment and the staff were so disrespectful...
Read moreI will go out of my way to get anything other than cookout due to the health concerns and service practices. I stopped to open the trays after getting drive-through. The portions seemed like they were as if I only ordered a single serving. Cool. Thought they made a change and defended them. Until I got home and the okra was raw and gave my partner food poisoning. I called corporate to no response. I went there a second time expecting to alleviate their mistake. I was wrong. I ordered the exact same thing. They had the audacity to say that I didn’t say I asked for the same thing (WITH RECEIPT IN HAND) and called me a liar stating that I didn’t order cheese. Then proceeded to say I had to pay for cheese for their screw-up. I asked for a manager in which they brought out the person that cooked the food. I was expecting a manager and thought whom I was speaking to was a manager. The lady was not. Now I got a manager (to which I am unsure is the actual manager or not due to deception). I voiced my concerns with the previous interaction of having a manager. This “manager” Jonathan came out stating that cheese was extra charge even though I had asked for cheese to begin with. He wanted me to pay for “his” employees screw-up. I said I’ll call corporate again, which I did. He went to the back to check the ticket and by then I was so upset and left without my food. I proceeded to call corporate again which they never returned my call for the second time. I would never recommend the Greer cookout ever again. Since then, I have never gone to Cookout. Again, I will go out of my way to get anything other than cookout due to the health concerns and...
