Ah, Rick Erwin's in Greer, SC, where the steaks are as big as my dad jokes and the service is smoother than my favorite dad dance moves! Let me tell ya, stepping into this joint is like walking into the culinary Hall of Fame. It’s got that classic steakhouse vibe, where the ambiance is cozier than a football Sunday with a side of nachos! First off, the staff here? Absolute gems! They treat you like family—if your family were a bunch of professionals who knew how to pour a mean glass of sweet tea. My server was so friendly, I half-expected him to invite me over for a backyard barbecue after my meal! Seriously, if I had a dollar for every time someone asked how my day was, I’d have enough to buy the whole restaurant a round of drinks! Now, let’s talk about the food! I ordered the filet mignon, and let me tell you, it was so tender it practically put me to sleep—like a lullaby for my taste buds! It was cooked to perfection, just like my famous grilled burgers at home—except, you know, with a lot less smoke and a lot more finesse. The sides? Oh boy, the mashed potatoes were so creamy that I thought I was eating a cloud! And don’t even get me started on the asparagus—crispier than my dad jokes on a Saturday night! For dessert, I had the chocolate lava cake, and let me tell you, it erupted with flavor! I felt like a kid again, waiting for the volcano to blow at the science fair. It was rich, decadent, and just the kind of sweet treat that makes you want to do a happy dance—trust me, I did! Rick Erwin’s is a five-star experience wrapped in a delicious, buttery package. If you’re looking for a place where the food is divine, the service is top-notch, and the dad jokes are always welcome, look no further! This is a place where you can enjoy a great meal and maybe even share a laugh or two. So, grab your family, bring your appetite, and get ready for a feast!

We’ve been to Rick Erwin’s Westside once and Eastside multiple times. They are always consistent and excellent. This was our first visit to the Greer location. We were in the area and decided on a walk in vs a planned visit with reservations. We arrived early for cocktails about 4:30 and our bartender was Hugh. He knew what he was doing. After my initial order of a Boulevardier, we discussed similar bourbon and scotch cocktails. He did a great job and knew my preferences. He recommended a “Fall Back” which I’ve never had and really enjoyed. For our appetizer we tried something new, the Saganaki, a kasseri cheese set aflame with cognac and drizzled with fresh lemon served with a toasted baguette. Wow!! We’ll definitely be back for this one. Our entrees were the seared scallops with a squash risotto and the company crab cakes with lobster creamed corn and remoulade. Both were amazing . Overall service was great. The restaurant was slightly smaller than the other two locations which made for a cozy atmosphere. Very satisfied overall and will definitely choose Rick Erwin’s Greer again in the near future!

My wife and I have gone on and on about our meal and experience since we left! 6/5 stars, seriously. We had reservations at 5:30. We got there a little early and had drinks at the bar. Great service and selection there. They took us to our table and I had selected it was our anniversary on OpenTable when I made the reservations. (35 years). The server knew it and congratulated us, and brought us a signed card from the chefs and entire staff. We both had the 3 course meal with a filet. (And you have* to add the truffle butter, oh my goodness.) We got different 1st courses and separate desserts so we could share, and each thing from the bread, to the vegetables, to the steak, and the desserts was a home run. We ended up sitting between two other couples celebrating their 51st and 41st anniversary so we ended up being the babies at only 35! Honestly, do yourself a favor and go to Rick Erwin's - Greer.

Girls night out at RE Greer! This was our first time dining at his newest location and let me say, it is officially our FAVORITE of the Ricks locations. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with kindness and made to feel like we had been there 100 times before. The ambience is warm and very inviting. We started with cocktails at the bar, which were fantastic! You cannot ever go wrong with a Ricks chocolate martini! They promptly got a table ready for us due to a full house! We were offered outside patio seating or inside the semi private dining room. We opted to sit inside (with ceiling fans which were a nice touch). Our service was prompt and the food didn't cease to amaze with each course. Started with the fried calamari served with a creamy aioli that complimented it perfectly. Next we had the wedge salad. The bread was served individual loaf size which i thought was really unique. For our entrees we ordered filets that melted in your mouth like butter and the crabcakes that were divine! Paired that with cheesy whipped potatoes and creamed spinach. For dessert we enjoyed the vanilla bean crembrulee with fresh fruit and it is hands down the best you can get in town. From the color scheme to the artwork of downtown greer, this new concept of Ricks is a must see. The General Manger Christina was the icing on the cake to our visit. She gave us a tour of the new space and stopped by our table several times to ensure we were enjoying ourselves. You knocked it out of the park with...
