The game in trampoline area where you slap lights is broken. It had been semi functional last few months where one side worked with few lights working but now nothing works. The dodgeball area is completely dark no lights at all and the targets done work or the counter.
The netted room for shooting balls where the foam balls fall and you feed them back up the vaccum, the vacuum is broken and doesn’t feed the balls up. You have to manually carry balls up with you 3 stories up and by that time who wants to shoot balls.
All of the blocks in the rock climb metal Slide area are all bent and have no form anymore used to be able to make a house and forts and roll around in the round ones, just need to Throw them away, at this point.
And the most frustrating thing of All, my son is 3 and just the height of the rock climbing wall and not the zip line, well last time we went the lady working the zip line said he was tall enough to ride and “she thinks” there is only one height requirement now same height for all things. He was excited and rode zip line a few times. He always cries cuz his sister can ride and he can’t do he was just so excited as I was and I videoed every time. So went back today he wanted to ride zip line with his older sister finally is able to follow her and the 2 diff height requirements were back up and said he wasn’t tall enough to ride. I said just few weeks ago the lady working here let he and his friend ride and said there was only 1 height requirement now So I went back and forth with the guy about he being able to ride last time showing him pics and diff time stamps in my phone if he riding multiple times and he told me to take it up with his manager. Manager is no help and so rude always against you I have dealt with her before always seeming like we are wrong and they are right. My son being able to ride the zip line was not MY FAULT OR HIS. The staff must be unaware of rules and regulations, again I wasn’t trying to get any staff in trouble just trying to understand why the change in height where he couldn’t ride anymore and everyone wanted to act like it never happened and didn’t know how he got to ride in first place when I even questioned the lady who let him ride I said “did y’all change the height requirements cuz he has never been tall enough” and she dead said there was only 1 height requirement for all activities now and that was the lower rock climbing height. Just was expecting a response from management or staff saying sorry we were wrong the first time or whoever was working must have had it wrong but he is not tall enough but instead they acted like I was crazy and that never happened and when I showed videos of him riding they said they don’t know how he got to ride lol just funny. I’ll be going to defy where there are memberships, incentives and rewards for members, and staff are kind and courteous and most of all a manager who holds her staff accountable and where the customer is always right… I’ve worked in retail and places like this and I would have been fired 10x over for speaking to people the way this staff does
Management should always ask “how can I help, how can I make it better, how can I make it right.” She is flat out rude and mean...
Read moreThis is a review of the experience doing a birthday party. The actual activities at the location were probably worth 5 stars since my kids and their guests loved it. But from the moment we wanted to book we had problems. The online site to complete a booking showed no available times for our desired date. So we had to call. They told my husband he could come in to book. I called back and asked to do it over the phone which they did. Online, the price posted for the weekend birthday we wanted was 450. Never did the person over the phone tell me the price (and I assumed it was the price I saw online). Came to find out it actually cost $600 for the package we wanted. An updated or more clear website would be great to reflect this. When we walked into the location and said we were checking in for a party, they told us they did not have our name/party listed. Stressful as all get out as a parent. They informed us we should have received an invoice, which we had not. Over the phone I was told to check and make sure we had been charged the deposit and that meant our party was locked in (which we did). So we stand around for 10 minutes and wonder if they have a spot for us. Finally they reassure us they are going to take care of us and they found the booking. I had also been told they would provide the napkins, plates, etc etc and I told our party host we wanted to use those, yet we had to keep asking for more plates/napkins. I couldn't figure out if they were trying to cut costs, but for what I paid I would have liked to have had a supply of those items in the room and not have needed to keep requesting more. Overall, for what we paid, the birthday party experience simply is not worth it. Updates on the website and an easier, clear, and transparent booking process would be a big plus and have alleviated much of our critique. Plus side, going just to jump seems affordable and super fun. So hopefully this will just help future parents avoid some of the pitfalls we...
Read moreI'm 41 years old and I love going to this place with the family. The zip line is the most fun. My 3 year old baby girl would spend our entire play time on the zip line alone if we didn't distract her...lol! The only gripes that I have is that their slides are not smooth. We always get stuck midway down the slides. I would suggest they issue potato sacks/burlap that would make the slides more enjoyable. That, and the last couple of times we went, they were out of the mid-ticketed prizes you can redeem with your card points. All prizes were either very high ticketed or very low. The mid-ticketed tags were still in the case but their spots were either empty or misrepresented with higher ticketed prizes. Most of the staff is very friendly and professional. We've only had one incident of a rude rep...but we let it slide in the name of keeping it light and fun. They keep the place clean which I would imagine is hard to do with the size of the place and the amount of people that come through. I'm so grateful to have a place like this close to home so we don't have to drive out to Kenner for family fun if we don't want to...and the big jump place in Harahan is not an option. They have roaches, very unclean and unprofessional. Nothing like it used to be under the last owners. This jump house has been the best so far. Keep up the great work guys and keep morale high so that you keep the good employees. This reminds me that the sweetest girl I'd met there was quitting today because she needs more pay. I mean she was so fun and engaging with my 3yr old. It takes special people to actually love their job that way. She wasn't "just at work".... I wish she could stay. All that to say, treat the good ones well and pay them their worth. I understand that biden has made it tough on everybody but these good employees are the ones who are gonna make your business thrive for years to come...even with a psycho in office. Anywho,...
