This place really went down. The food is cold and bland, but what is worse, is the brunette with the ponytail and black large whole earrings, pale skinned (not judging)- day shift, but there were no other qualities, not welcoming or inviting. When I came in, alone after a long meeting wanted to unwind. When I entered, she was like busy then said what can I get for you, I was like- can I eat at a table? Then before I could even sit down, she said what do you want. I said can, I sit and look at the menu first. I literally had to ask for the wine menu. She didn’t even offer, thought that was the purpose of restaurants, to up sell. Mushrooms were not hot, and chicken was okay, pasta was bland - no flavor. This was suppose to be a paneed, not panned chicken I think? as online menu has a typo. It was flour breaded, didn’t stick with no flavor. Also not served with angel hair pasta, but capellini larger pasta that resembles a smaller spaghetti, when I asked server, she told me it was Capellini, there is a difference. I often wondered why parking lot has been so empty lately but for something that use to be so good. It is not quality as before. The house salad is even now just iceberg lettuce with store bought cheese, pre-shredded. Anyway, if your looking for something not rated a just okay, don’t go here. Evg shift lady that took over was super sweet, caring and nice. Wish I saw her first after a long, gruesome meeting. Maybe just an off day between...

Several servers are very slow and appear to be under the influence of something. I'm not disgruntled, I was fired based on rumors being spread by an extremely hateful employee that cut corners and never did her job the way it was supposed to be done. This person has been disrespectful to several other employees and has had confrontation of some sort with other employees to the point that several people refuse to even work with her. I was falsely accused and terminated based on lies spread by this person. If I was such a terrible server I wouldn't have made the money that I did while working there. I loved being an employee at Specialty and don't feel as if I was treated fairly. I was terminated based on lies not my performance, the amount of money that I made spoke for my performance. If I was not able to perform my duties as a server I wouldn't have made any money, and I did in fact make money and I did it without cursing anyone out or screaming, yelling, or losing my cool every single time I got busy. The person that did all of those things, constantly started trouble, and never completed her duties still...

We moved here from out of town and we've never been here. We ordered chicken piccata it was bland no flavor hardly any sauce and the chicken was tough. My bfs kids got chicken fettuccine and it had no flavor. Spinach artichoke dip with hard bread. We got 4 canolis at 5 bucks a piece and they had mostly chocolate filling a tiny bit of the white cream when i cut them in half. I called and talked to the manager and told him about my experience he started explaining some things to me. He told me that thats how the canolis have always come and that no one has ever complained I'm the first ever. To which I said well I've never experienced this nor did I know ,it wasnt on the menu nor did anyone tell us that it was half and half. He said so your kids like chocolate on the outside but not the inside, I said yes and I could tell he was irritated. He asked what i wanted and I said idk honestly and he said he'd give us a 20 dollar credit for next time and that I should try something different next time. I said sure and thank you but I dont think we'll ever go back. I will say they takeout girl was so helpful...

The atmosphere was very nice, seating is close. I love/hate the fact that it's so close... on one hand, everyone feels like family. The entire restaurant sang happy birthday to a stranger You can hear the convo of the table next to you, etc. But over all, that was not a problem. Service was good, just a bit slow. But SUPER FRIENDLY and Welcoming. Our Food... well, my chicken meat was not seasoned. However, the skin was. The pasta was good. My kids enjoyed their food, which they are very picky, but again, they had their own personal pizza. The eggplant fries were delicious. The lasagna was good. Next time, I will try the spaghetti and meatballs because it looked amazing as a server passed by with it...just fyi. The cheese cake was thick and creamy, just wish I had a strawberry topping.

Do you send it back, and hope they can make something else? Do you Let it pass as one bad meal and give it another try? First impressions mean so much... The atmosphere was welcoming, and I enjoyed the music, But... How do you have meals that look this good and yet the Fettuccine Alfredo tasted that bad? I can't even say it tasted Bad, because first it has to have Flavor. I would have gotten more flavor out of an Alfredo frozen dinner from Walmart. Thank God I ordered a glass of wine to wash what I ate down. Maybe your other meals are good, but they need to take that Alfredo recipe, throw it away and pick another.

First time there but what we had was excellent. Spaghetti and Italian sausage, and lots of sauce cooked to perfection. My wife's Chicken Parmesan was just as good. We didn't leave room for the garlic cheese pizza that came with each meal, but we made just enough space for coconut bread pudding. That was a warm, square of goodness in a not overly sweet rum sauce covered in almond and coconut shavings. Very very good. Definitely going to return to this place.
