Giving this restaurant 2 stars. First, I have to say that the waitress was absolutely great (unfortunately, did not get her name). Maybe our first mistake was some ordering a la cart instead of going to the buffet. I opted for the buffet. 15 minutes after the a la carte orders, our waitress was kind enough to tell us that they were short staffed and had a new cook, hence, a longer than normal wait. Fast forward to 30 minutes, when we realized that our order was not even in the grill. The manager came over and finally addressed our table and retook our order. She headed into the kitchen to make it herself. The order received was still wrong after 45 minutes of waiting. We spoke with the manager and stated that the waitress was very helpful and did a great job. However, she (the manager) has a complete lack of managerial skills. We relayed that she as the manager should have come over to our table much earlier to let us know that service would be slower than normal. At least, give us a choice to stay or go. I felt she was dismissive and pretty much didn’t care. While, I can understand operational issues, she should have addressed it long before marking us wait almost an hour for food. Read moreWhen first walking into the doors I've notice several waitress standing around talking amoungs themselves! Not once acknowledge my presence but was finally seated at a booth I choose, that was being wiped off with no disinfectant bottle used nor a bucket or something in that nature, but looks like rinsed off from the sink! The buffet selection is in good choice, but the French toast was kinda hard to chew on! My waitress never introduced herself nor made sure I was doing o.k. and if I needed anything! My receipt for my total charge was not left on my table, so when I was at the register, the cashier that looked like the manager,just ask me did I get a drink and I said yes, so I was charged 10.99 for the buffet and another 2.99 for the drink which totaled came to 14.08. When the next customer that were Caucasian gave the cashier there receipt,I find it very odd that she asked them "Was Your Breakfast O. K.? But not once did this cashier ask me the same question nor the African Americans that checked out before myself? Read moreWe went today just as they were changing over from breakfast to lunch. We grabbed some of what was left from breakfast before it was all taken away. Ate our first plates, no problem. Then I went back for the lunch options as we had seen they were setting up while we were eating. When I asked the buffet attendant about spoons for the sides, she snapped at me that "it's not ready yet, we're trying to get the meats out." So, I took the salad I had already fixed to my table to eat while they finished preparing the buffet. When I went back up, I noticed they had added MOLDY carrot sticks to the salad options! I informed the attendant they were moldy. She didn't seem too happy with me, but removed them and took them to the back. On my dessert trip, low and behold, she had only removed the worst of the moldy carrots from the top and re-served them! I then noticed another customer preparing a salad and made sure to warn her in case she hadn't noticed. How disgusting! Why would you put your customers at risk like that just to save a buck?!?!
