Just left there and had a pretty horrible experience. My girlfriend and I recently moved from Baton Rouge, where we went to the local Waffle House at least once a week. We even have our favorite servers number and call her when we go back to town. I won’t be returning to this location. We started off by ordering coffee, which didn’t come out until one of our dishes we ordered did. I always like to order a waffle first, then decide on my meal. My server couldn’t grasp this concept and said everything needed to be put in at the same time so everything comes out hot. So we put all of our food in at once. My food came out first, four minutes later my girlfriends came out, then another five minutes later we were brought and undercooked waffle. Read moreI’m not a complainer, easy going and understanding that being a short order cook can be a handful especially when the place is extremely busy, so props to the cooks, but this place needs a serious overhaul on waiters and waitresses!!45 mins for a scrambled egg and a waffle! Come on people, and $25 for a omelette, scramble eggs, two bowls of grits that was like brick mortar! I love Waffle House, just not this one! My dog even turned his nose up at the bacon! Had it not have been a take out order I’d demand my $25 dollars back, and yes, just to show I’m a descent human being, I still tipped the young lady because it wasn’t her fault! It was the young lady’s fault who was walking around with 12 order tickets in her hand not knowing how to do her job!...
