Maybe the worst run Culver’s I’ve ever been to. Such poor and slow and non-attentive service that it’s embarrassing. The kids who work here don’t care about your food or your order, will argue with you over a simple refund, and on probably four different occasions I’ve been missing multiple items from my order and on multiple other occasions my order has been made wrong. Today we ordered two meals and only got two burgers in the sack, no fries. Silly.
It’s really not that hard but this place treats fast food prep like it’s having to memorize the Gutenberg Bible. Unreal. This branch’s leadership should be ashamed of itself and it’s poor customer service.
To the Area manager, feel free to contact me or respond on here. I have several experiences I’m sure you’d like to hear about with this store. This place is currently a stain on the brand and on my hometown. I don’t expect perfection, but I do expect my order to be correct, especially when I’m paying $11 for a simple combo meal. Today’s total was around $26 at around 2pm.
Also, if this comment is met with an excuse for the customer interaction that happened today on 1/15/22, I wouldn’t even be surprised. I’m happy to explain what happened and why the employees don’t care about the customer. But today was another of many problems I have had simply ordering food through this drive thru location.
The manager, supposedly named Nancy, is almost completely incompetent at solving customer service issues, as was the other manager during the 3pm shift today. VERY poor management. These kids don’t care about their job or your meal, and that’s a shame. I didn’t see a single person above the age of probably 18.
It’s no coincidence that you will find many other comments on here about the management or service or slow experiences.
TIME TO START OVER IF YOU WANT THIS STORE TO STAY OPEN.
Downright embarrassing that this is the level of service you will find in Grimes, IA. Would be better off closed. I have to drive to a different location far away from me now to expect anything to be done right. Now that’s enough. This and the Panchero’s in Grimes have some of the worst service I’ve ever encountered in Iowa.

UPDATE: It’s now two months later and of course there’s still been no response from this lackluster management or owner. It’s funny how they can thank the positive reviewers and suspiciously have been raising a lot of random short 5-star reviews here. But us folks that live near this location know this isn’t a 5-star experience, ever. What a shame. Not even a concern from the company about this one. Now AGAIN, I went to this location to try it again, and simply ordered a concrete mixer with chocolate cake pieces and Oreo. Paid to have both. What do you know, I get it and of course there’s no Oreo. Always problems with these LAZY KIDS. That’s all they are too, LAZY. I’m done commenting about this joke of a restaurant. I tried being understanding and asked questions why was my order forgotten about for 40 minutes staying as others drove past… the poor kids were not getting the help they needed and it was the biggest mess I’ve ever seen.I even asked to see a manager— the kid went in and came back out with NO manager and I said what happened? He needs to explain how he’s going to amend and organize to help you and the others that CLEARLY revealed they were STRESSED with not clear professional etiquette or clear instruction. Read moreI brought my family here tonight and, unfortunately, was extremely disappointed. One of the meals we ordered was the beef pot roast sandwich, which arrived with barely any meat—what little there was consisted mostly of fat. It was inedible.
We also ordered the 2-piece cod dinner with fries, onion rings, and a fountain drink. Not only were the onion rings missing, but when I approached the front to address both issues, the General Manager remade the sandwich but insisted on checking the order for the onion rings. She said they had been substituted with a drink and told me I’d need to pay an extra 51 cents if I wanted the onion rings. I was genuinely shocked—over 51 cents? She explained that’s how the owner trained her, which left me even more stunned.
I pointed out that good customer service means making things right when mistakes happen, but she couldn’t have cared less.
We normally enjoy custard after our meals here, but we skipped it this time and instead took our business to Al’s Dairy Freeze, where the ice cream is fantastic and the service is even better.
