Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Grimes

The chips I received with my side of queso, mind you a side of queso is over 9 dollars were absolutely stale or grease soaked? I don't know, they were inedible... the older lady working at 7:40pm on Tuesday 3/18/2025 almost didn't know what she was doing? I ordered two bowls and every scoop was very scant, met with uncertainty that she had given a proper portion. First the rice, then the beans, ect... When we got to the meat, again. A scant scoop.. when I politely asked for more she stated "you know, that will be extra" and I said, "I just want the same portion the customer infront of me was given.." she said okay, and proceeds to add more meat condescendingly asking me "is that enough?" I said, "that looks like a little much for just a little more" then she proceeds to dump the spoon full on the rest of my order. Getting to the register, I am of course sticker shocked by the total with a charge of extra meat.. overall I wish I could say my experience was decent, but that would be too kind.. I've avoided Chipotle now for almost a year, I figured with a new restaurant I might get a better experience! I was wrong... I will again be avoiding Chipotle for the foreseeable future, and I hope my words are read as a cation to avoid...

Portions are seriously lacking. My bowl with everything on it was only 5.5 grams. When trying to enter the restaurant 1 of their 2 entrance points were locked. The only unlocked door was on the side of their building where there’s mainly drive thru/online ordering parking spots. When brought to their attention they said the locked door is the “side door” when there’s only two ways to enter the building and to just used the unlocked entrance that again is on the other side from their main parking lot. They then made excuses that they just opened and were finishing even though it was over an hour later. There was no apology or effort to unlock the door while I placed my to go order. The manager working 7/27/25 at 11: 35 am needs to be talked to about ensuring time management so the restaurant can be opened on time with all entry points unlocked as the business is opened. I have had this happen to me 3/4 of the times I’ve visited at different points of the day and it still has not been fixed.

Edit; just not getting better. The chicken is so over cooked it is petrified and now they forget the sides we purchased. On the receipt.... not in the bag.

Edit, Edit; not getting any better! Someone in my family loves chipolte and the other locations are about 20 minutes away so they go here for convenience. I wish someone from the company would do a quality control check on this spot. New picture added of the "Quesadilla" recently purchased.
