Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Grimes

So I have been working in this area for the past few days and I have been extremely busy working 14hr days so I really didn't have any time to eat. On my way to the job site in the morning, I saw this Jimmy John's, which made me think of my all-time favorite sandwich, the J.J. Gargantuan! 14 hours I was thinking about that awesome sandwich and even worked hard to make sure I would be there half an hour before they closed at 10:00 pm. When I finally pull in the drive-thru at 9:20pm 40 minutes before closing, the guy on the speaker tells me they have no bread, and if I want something, I can only get a wrap.............. What kind of sandwich shop that has some of the best sandwiches on the market, doesn't have sandwich bread?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!? If I wanted a burrito, I would go to a cantina! So I got the J.J. in wrap form because it was too late, and I was too tired to go anywhere else. Got back to my hotel and bit into it and was completely filled with disappointment, I ate about half of it because I had to eat something, and the rest went into the trash where it belonged. Caution, check your sandwich.

I have been to this Jimmy John’s six times now and each time I state “no cheese” due to lactose intolerance.

Every single order has come out with cheese on it. Every. Single. Time.

The first time this happened I took a bite, realized it had cheese, and had to spit the bite out. I then had to disassemble the sandwich to take the cheese off.

This last time I had to send it back because there was cheese. They removed the cheese instead of remaking it, which is not a big deal, but didn’t take all of the cheese off. I get to the last few bites, too late I had eaten the remaining cheese.

Honestly, it’s not a hard request. Just get the order correct. I shouldn’t have to think about it after my order, that’s half of the reason I’m paying for the...

DO NOT order from this location. We ordered for delivery understanding it could take a little longer; it took over an hour to get us our food. When called the store to ask what was going on was told it would be on its way even after the app saying it’s been out for delivery for 20 minutes. This is the 2nd time in a month this has happened with this location and the first time we received our food the side of ranch was spilled all over our entire bag and sandwiches. I understand being patient with restaurants during this time but this is absolutely insane. Also called back in after still not having my food and the employee lied about being the manager and once realized couldn’t handle my request got the actual manager...
