This Applebee's is in desperate need of an overhaul along with new management. Multiple times I've dined here - none of the experiences have been "good". The management needs to understand that people come here to spend money and have a decent meal. Instead every experience feels like the customer comes second to the servers and waitstaff. They insist on seating you near the frigid windows right on top of other sizable family when the entire restaurant is empty. I've requested to sit at one of the multiple empty high tables before (This exact scenario has happened multiple times). I request to sit at a taller high table - for 1 they are noticeably always open / available and being a disabled veteran, that's actually significantly more comfortable VS. the years old booths that lack any cushion. A more accurate description is being seated on a hard bench next to a freezing window after I've requested better seating that is clearly available- Thats my typical experience with this place. Why does the wait staff always make it a hair pulling encounter? The public who are showing up to spend $$$ do not care about whatever pre-arranged table area which the waiter serves who. The public don't want to be placed in uncomfortable booths next to freezing windows and be ignored by the staff after making very reasonable requests. P.S. I'd like to add that the taller male waiter is always exceptionally nice and understanding. Never any kind of hurdle with that guy. I vote him for promotion. The current management needs...
Read moreValentines day. We ordered pick up due to being a big family and avoid the fuss of dining in. I went in the front door as the side door was packed with a line of people. I spoke to a hostess he directed me to a busy bar and just to mention I'm here for pick up. Multiple people walked by me before ever saying a word not a hi or even an aknowledgement. Order said pick up for 625. Someone finally came out from back with a bag and with no words tried to hand me a random person food. Now around 640 I'm able to give my name. Multiple other people did as well and others that had already been waiting. We then watch 2 staff members walk outside past the huge line. Finally got food at 700 and then got missing items at 709. The guy who helped was great but the wait was long acknowledging it being valentines day. I made no fuss. Get home foods cold and wilted, drinks watered down, burgers cold but yet still pink. Called to speak to someone for replacement food and was offered a refund. They took my info and said they call me when they processed it. Again no fuss. Now it's 10:17pm and no call or refund and down $100. Happy Valentine's Day. Read moreThe waitress ignored me (female) and my toddler but was all over fiance and my father. She didn’t even take my order or bring me a water after asking a couple times. When she did finally bring my water there was back wash ALL IN it like someone spit in it or maybe glass wasn’t cleaned. I don’t know. Also was a hair on my chicken which my food came 15 minutes after everyone else’s. She offered my fiancé who isn’t legal age to drink yet alcohol and said it’s fine bc she’ll “do it for him”. She was def in late 30s and very immature. When he asked if could take all can eat food home she leaned in to him and again said “for you of course.” He moved back uncomfortable because was odd but she didn’t read the room clearly. The dishes (forms and a few small plates) were also dirty still. Like not cleaned and she said that the reason my food was late was bc she brought to wrong table on accident and just realized it. Which also grossed me out. I didn’t order anything else for all can eat and we all left because we were disgusted with the cleanliness and the service. Wont be surprised if they get food poisoning. I didn’t eat bc the hair and dirty plates and didn’t want to inconvenience her anymore by ordering more because even tho we were 1/2 of her only tables she said she “just wants to go home” and messed up so much already.
