New Asia Market Inc — Local services in Groton

I found this place recently and it is everything I could hope for. Their prices are very reasonable. I bought fresh tamarinds, Chinese bitter melon which I'm addicted to, a huge bag of dried Shitaki mushrooms, beautiful scallions, sweet papaya, etc. They have a variety of fresh produce -- much of which I didn't recognize. I highly recommend it. If, at times, the staff may seem "unfriendly," it's not that. Many may not speak or understand English, but once they know what you're looking for, they couldn't be more helpful. i really want to give this place a good review; the staff is friendly and helpful, and they have a huge selection of goods... but one big concern i had was that an item i went there to buy was not being stored properly. all of these say "keep refrigerated", yet they were out on display in their original boxes, being kept at room temperature. hopefully this issue can be rectified, cuz it's otherwise a nice place from what i've seen. lots of candy options that you can't...

I've loved this market for years, even before it moved across the street. This location is more convenient because you don't have to go through the shopping center, speed bumps and traffic.
