I am a disabled veteran on a fixed income. We thought it would be nice to take our children to this dunkin for a treat one morning. As we sat motionless in the drive through line, their previously broken and unlatched dumpster gate, flew into our vehicle and did over $1000 worth of damage. This was caught on their video and by at least three witnesses. Their employees also came out and said the gate was previously broken and they apologized. They asked us to be patient and said that they would take care of all the damage. After ignoring our phone calls and texts for a couple weeks , we finally got a hold of them and they told us to take it up with their insurance company. Their insurance company was immediately standoffish, and tried to bully us into filing a claim with our own insurance company which would require a deductible and the possibility of having our rates raised. We tried to contact this local dunkin again to explain the situation to them and the difficulties their insurance company was creating. (We have video and photos of their negligence and the damage). I told them I’d prefer we don’t let this situation spiral out of control. All we want is the damage fixed and nothing else, its such a small amount for a Dunkin franchise. $1000 and a loaner for a day. The guy David, practically refused to talk to us and told us they have nothing to do with it now it’s an insurance issue. I highly recommend anyone never go to a Dunkin owned by these people and definitely would recommend no service members or veterans ever use a dunkin owned by these people because clearly they don’t care about others. Read moreI go here only Bc it's coffee and on my way to work. Yesterday and today I spent 10 minutes waiting. And about 3 minutes for them to take my order. Yesterday there was only one guy working. (You can't have one person in store by them selves by the way) he made it a large I asked for a medium. It's made different if I took the large no thank u. Today there was 4 workers working , so tell me why it took the same amount of time as "one worker"? Same amount of cars too (3 ahead of me yesterday and today) I did not get a receipt yesterday Bc the paper was out, nor today when I waited for it, he didn't come back to window and I already waited so long- so I'm writing this review. Previous orders here they got my orders wrong I have lived in Groton for a little over a year and I have had to go in the building with my 2 kids from them attempting to make it thru drive thru about 20 times. And I'm being nice when I say 20 times it's probably more times.
BUT they do deserve that one star Bc when they make the coffee right , or a second time actually right it's good.
Poor management Bc when I actually have to go in the manager just attempted to make coffees she couldn't get the concept of Carmel swirl made 4/4 it was dark disgusting she had to remake it 3 times (no lie) and my husbands nope couldn't even make it right- in this same visit employees where fighting, arguing back and forth about who should be in drive thru or what station they should be at and they been there since 6 am they should go on break etc- the manager didn't say or do anything she just let them...
Read moreI am a regular Dunkin customer so I know the menu and the charges pretty well even if I change cities. I ordered a sweet black pepper bacon with extra bacon. I anticipated the $1 upcharge for the extra but was charged an additional $1. I pointed this out to the rep at the window and told him it was fine and pulled off. However, my sandwich was still half cold and crumpled. So I had to go back to the window and was prepared to ask for a fix but the rep was extremely annoyed and antagonistic so I just ask for a complete refund.
When did it become ok to curse at someone when they have questions about their order? I could hear him loudly cussing in the background and referring to me as “this.” At this stage I told him I could hear him and asked him to stop.
This type of customer service is the worst I have experienced. Thankfully one of his other coworkers came and rectified it professionally and without the rude language and attitude.
Shame on this Rep with this type of behavior as it does not represent the other staff members. You should never let folks feel intimidated or cussed out if they have questions about their orders. Dunkin’ needs to retrain...
