Gansett Wraps — Restaurant in Groton

I ordered online and clicked my previous order to add to my current order which was a steak grinder. They were out of sub rolls that day (which it gave me no notice of when I added it to my order) and they substituted it with a wrap. I like their food but am not a fan of the wraps they use so I wouldn’t have put the order in had I known. The online photo for the steak and cheese is also very clearly a grinder. I also used a $10 reward on this order which means I am a repeat customer who has spent at least $200 there since this was my second reward redeemed. I spoke with the owner’s daughter and asked if I could at least get my $10 reward back to use another day and they refused. $10 to not have my business again hardly seems worth it but these people are clearly not about customer service. Update: I’ve eaten here often and without issue however today (May 9th, 2024) I bit into a falafel with a roughly two inch wire in it. I’m not looking for anything from the restaurant other than more awareness and attention to detail. I will continue to eat here but I will be inspecting my food and the food I’m feeding to my children more throughly.

We have been here twice now and both occasions exceeded expectations. The first time we came for salads for dinner. They were all loaded with toppings and were delicious. Today we went for lunch wraps, I cannot recommend the gyro enough. It was amazing! Also ask for a small cup of their home made jalapeño sauce on the side. The flavors are still lingering in my mouth while I sip a beer at Outer Light Brewing. I wish I could eat it again but...

They have the best fries EVER. Hands down. No contest. Fight me. I do not care.

Nobody comes close to touching the level of perfection these beautiful people gracefully bestow upon simple sliced tater straws.
