Pizza Palace — Restaurant in Groton

The first time I decided to get a different pizza locally, was a major mistake. The waiter was young & inexperienced, & took 15 minutes to take my order. What should have taken 10 minutes to cook, somehow took 25 minutes to get to the table, after the order was placed. I came in & the place was empty. I was one of the first in, & when I questioned the speed, I was told "Superbowl". Well, let's table that for a moment. The pizza was very oiley, tastey, & yet after a couple pieces, my stomach felt like it blew up as if I had eaten rat poissening. I was in such discomfort from this pizza, by Wednesday, I required a doctors visit, & a prescrition. By Monday night, a week later, whatever was in that pizza, finally passed. This restaurant is not only a place to get delicious food, but a location with great employees and customer service. After ordering delivery from one of the many middleman delivery services the delivery service placed the order wrong. While trying to figure out where it went wrong I called the restaurant who promptly offered to fix the order even though it was no fault of their own AND after hours which I realized later. You talk about Amazing service, this was it right here, and the food was as always delicious. Do yourself a favor and eat here, but if doing take out call in...

We have been coming here for over 40 years. Unfortunately we received the wrong pizza and when we went all the way home all they would do is just make us another one. Not really good customer satisfaction to compensate us having to come all the way back. on top of that my daughter had to wait in line another 20 minutes before we could get the new pizza. So all in all over an hour wait. In the hot sun... Check your order before you leave......
