Burger King — Restaurant in Grover Beach

Best fast food in the area. A really decent burger and always have loved the "Original Chicken Sandwich". Which I've been ordering since it came out 30+years when I lived in South Carolina. I always ask for it to be made "fresh" and never been fooled! Or given a nasty look.Service by the young manager, John"(?) Is always a pleasure and how he puts up with some of the other lazy, no personality, young boys, or girls, looks pretty amazing being that he's "one of those young guys, himself. I assume they all went to the local high school, together. You can tell he was raised right because when his own mother comes to grab a sandwich, he will greet her with good manners but doesn't put her order ahead of the other customers! And hearing a (probably) 21yr old kid tell this woman, that he loves her mama is something you don't hear alot! So, whether it's this young hardworking positive employee or just the well made burgers, good fries, etc...and very clean tables, bathrooms and clean & well- stocked food stations, is up for debate! Mom, herself, is a recently retired manager at the SLO Food4less. But, children always taking what they learned from the parents isn't how things are going to be. Mike and his wife, Shirley, should be proud to say that John represents their privately owned business in a fantastic way and should treat John well? Offering a more decent wage and/or offering medical insurance the young people, can manage their own lives , now, as alot of their chances have been taken away. With his 4 straight years working and being taught by them, it shows, to the community that pride within our little towns is growing and still around and doesn't have to be a newer or fancier establishment. These high school graduated local kids need to start somewhere and learn responsibility without many other changes, especially, with Covid-19 closing/limiting our good future age...

Probably the worst experience ever order number 42 and through the drive-through I ordered a five dollar deal that has a Junior whopper chicken nuggets fries and then I also asked for a whopper on the side and I come back to my work and French fries are cold as a rock how to throw them out then my nuggets were warm but when I went to get my hamburger hamburger it was cold as ice and a Junior whopper was ice cold went back to the store found out the heater where they keep the food on their average being made is broken and I hear two employees first one Jenelle and another lady both laughing because her all the food is cold food being cold is not a good thing it’s a health risk people can get sick and only after I heard these two ladies talking about another piece of equipment broke and saying the owner just hasn’t fixed it but they replaced my food warm this time...

Horrible. Went there last night through the the drivethrough. Not only did it take to long but when we got to the window we observed atleast 4 and maybe five kids who supposedly were working there just standing around joking and laughing. Just thought they were ahead of the crowd and the food would be fresh..I was wrong. Everything tasted old and just bad. Plus there was a line of atleast 6 cars yet they were still in there laughing and joking without a care in the world. Then we noticed they gave us the wrong food and did not take off the lettuce from the tacos. The little lady who gave us the food seemed very sweet but I just feel she needed atleast 1 co- worker to help her. Fyi. It was around 8pm.. This happens every time we have gone to this bk. Will be the last time. If I were in charge I would get rid of the whole group except the gal at the...
