Been a customer since day 1. I go there to get a gallon of tea about three times a week. Until last week when the owner's daughter which some how is Assisant Manager was very rude to me. They usually let me grab my own tea from the front of the display case and now they no longer do that which is fine but I asked for the freshest gallon of tea because I've had several that were spoiled. The owner has never had a problem with me exchanging the sour tea. And the night I spoke with his daughter about a fresh gallon she told me if I didn't like it I can go elsewhere and get my tea. Never had a problem getting a fresh gallon made up.from any employee or the owner before. So a few days later I seen the owner and tried to explain to him what happened the night that his daughter was rude to me and he did not want to hear my side of the story he was just taking up for his daughter that was very rude telling me to go elsewhere. As he told me the same thing, I can go elsewhere and get my tea. He was just as rude as his daughter so you can tell they are family. Most of the employees know me there as Mr Chip, and know that I was coming to get a gallon of tea and already had it rung up before I got to the counter. The owners daughter is not the person to be in management talking to customers rudely over a gallon of tea. I'm 62 years old and she is maybe 21 or so. My daughters will not talk to adults like that, especially if the customer where they work is a regular customer with a smile.every visit. This is probably thevreason he has a big turn around on employees at this Grovetown Georgis Store. So now I go...
Read moreI placed an order through the drive-through. Consisted of six piece gizzard meal with two sides. I then ordered mac & cheese and black eyed peas is my selection. Pay for my meal and went on my way home. Upon getting home and settling in opened my meal to discover instead of blackout peas I had butterbeans. Which I’m not fond of. I called the store and the young lady that I spoke with basically told me that if I can drive 15 minutes back to the store from my house and bring the miss serves item that they would replace it. I had worked 10+ hours that day. So there was no way that I was going to stop what I was doing to return that item that was missed served. She said that it was their policy that they would not replace or refund an item without it being returned. Told her I will take it up with the store owner the next day. I returned there just a few minutes ago and spoke with an individual that identified in South as the store manager/owner. He was very arrogant in his disposition. Putting it politely. Basically telling me that he has had so many people calling lying about orders that he had to invoke that policy. I explain to him that I threw it away last night. He made no offer to make it right just had a smart smirk on his face. Will be the last time I pay a visit to the...
Read moreIT SUCKED!!!!! My husband picked a 16 pc. strip dinner from the drive thru, & we live less than 10 minutes from the restaurant. When we unpacked it and fixed our plates, the strips were rely cold to the touch. The side items were as they should have been. I called the store, the first attempt, the phone rang about 25 times before I hung up and tried again. This call was answered on the 4th ring. I asked to speak to a manager, and was placed on hold. I hung up after 10.5 minutes. Called back, let the phone ring another 25 times, hung up again and called back. Lady answered claiming to be the manager. She boldly told me that the food was cooked to order and there's no way our food was cold!! We went through a computer re-boot all the while telling me there was nothing was could do or was going to do since I was wrong. Also explaining to me that they were severely short staffed with untrained people. I think she need to be retrained, because her customer service skills are not sufficient to be in a management position. I am extremely disappointed in the food quality and service of this...
