Panadería y Repostería La Esmeralda — Restaurant in Guaynabo

Hello everyone...La Esmeralda Bakery, Guaynabo... weekday, not too many people...😐 Let me start with the atmosphere... that's a disorganized place and you don't have an idea where to order your food 😔, tables super dirty, staff of the order- counter area completely rude and not pleasant specifically a mature lady that is always there ,the prices ridiculously high for the environment, the food taste, and services that you're looking for a supposedly high quality bakery...I went 2 times just to give them a chance, 1st time March 29, I bought 10 quesitos that I called the day before.... they had me waiting for more than 20 minutes to gave me a box of the quesitos...the disorganized environment was stressful but I waited patiently because I wanted to surprise my daughter in law in Texas with the quesitos... I regretted the $7 tip that I gave them 😕 , holy God!!! , 2nd time, yesterday... my son came from NJ, we went for breakfast, my family and I were very disappointed ☹️ nothing special about this place....they had the courage to charge us a 8 oz foam cup of hot water and not even gave us or offered a tea bag for this expensive hot water lol.. 😆 ( see the pic)... Lesson learned!!!😆 Hopefully the owner have the chance to read the review and get...

The food was good. Tasted very fresh. The Jamón was especially flavorful, which I was not expecting to be as good as it was. I was expecting a regular ham experience; pleasant surprise there. Los huevos came out cooked to (my) perfection. The bread was also very good.

While it’s true that you walk in and have no idea where to order, the staff were friendly and pointed us in the right direction. Super quick and easy fix, not hard to figure out.

There was a slight hiccup where the wrong food was brought to our table, but our order came quickly after that and the food was good so no...

This is for sure my #1place to go to in Guaynabo, lovely ambiance, they have just about everything you cam think of for breakfast, I saw the lunch and afternoon menu and it looks entaicing to go and have them. You can spend more than you probably wood in another places for coffee but let me tell you, not many places have almond milk available for your coffee and guess what? Here they do. And the coffee is delicious. What about wholewheat bread for toast, well here you can get it! Really nice place, looking forward to going on an afternoon and enjoying that maneu as well.
