Horrible place, the food was not prepared in the restaurant mainly used maruchan noodles and a lot of Costco products like the dumplings and they charge extremely high, the ttebokki was sliced thinly so that its looks like the right portion but in reality it is not, the beef was a cheap cut of meat and was very over cooked tasted like iron, the pork belly was a very small portion compared to the rest of the plate, and the store bought sauce they use for the ramen is way too much compared with the amount of noodles, I wrote this almost 6 hours from eating here and my stomach isn’t feeling good at all let’s hope I don’t end up in an ER,our waitress that seems to be a homeless woman, did not explain where to find the menu and took 30min to take our order and 45min to give us our appetizer also forgot our drinks, she also got upset with us since we didn’t give her a tip that was heavily enforced by her.Further more the restaurant seems to read the reviews and replies back with cocky and passive aggressive behavior very unprofessional. The atmosphere is cramped and has little to no room and the seating is extremely uncomfortable, so much so my back hurts.Seems like all they want is to take your money without them willing to invest in the proper food, service, utilities, employees etc. Absolutely worthless will never come back here again which is a shame because I work 6...
Read moreI'm sorry, but I didn't like it, granted the only things I ordered was some jajangmyeon with bulgogi and a side of white rice, and was... bad, I wanted pork but they didn't had any either, noodles no better than maruchan quality, sauce incredibly questionable, just tasted like glazed soysauce and sugar reduction, like the eel sauce you get with rolls and sushi, but worse, I've had better janjangmyeon from a packet, so disappointing tbh. The bulgogi was pretty mediocre too, was more like chopped little beef scraps, but really little in quantity and size, and the bulgogi sauce mixed with "Janjangmyeong sauce" was really unpleasant, just really sweet all around, not much beef, bean paste or any other taste at all, was just really sweet, no depth or complexity of any kind. And abt the white rice, well is white rice, it was ok. I tried to eat it anyways cause I really wanted to enjoy my food, I didn't got past 3 bites, im not even exaggerating, I had to trow it away cause I wasn't about to give this meal experience to anyone else. I'm sorry, it may seem like I'm being a little harsh, but I swear this is an 100% honest opinion or review about my experience with the food here, the cashier was nice and all but were not judging the costumer service (not that I was there more then 4 minutes it was a take out order) we are judging the food, and was pretty bad in my experience, maybe they have better dishes but as far as my experience go with what I ordered it wasn't good. I can't recommend it, sorry guys
Read more10/20/2024 Update: Unfortunately, the kimbap came out with just meat and carrots. Like wtf especially compared to last year. Based on discussion with waitress it appears the other ingredients have been eliminated by the owners. Even the picture on the servers' shirts show more ingredients than they serve. I have to knock down 2 stars for this deliberate betrayal.
ORIGINAL: Kimbap, Dumplings (camarones) legit authentic. Very surprised to find here in PR.
Jjangemeon has questionable noodles as though from a rehydrated packet. The sauce tastes home made and not from the powder.
Green Tea Bubble Tea (more like ice slushie) had hard bobas. Packaging is improvised. Maybe they didn't soak them long enough.
Kimchi good with kimbap. Hard to beat Costco Kimchi.
I would go again if I have the craving for kimbap only. Jjangemeon if they improve the noodles.
I will give 5 because there just aren't better options on the island, otherwise 4 if competing Stateside. 3 if...
