Very, I mean very expensive because the Service does not justify the Price by any means. The waiters are very respectful and corteous, but for some reason they do not deliver the needed Service well. Example, we ordered, three times, hot sauce for the meals, never arrived after three tries, But it was on the Ticket in the end !!! The beer, wow, the Beer, we had to ask various times for cold beers because they were just cool, not cold, and soon they ran out of cold glasses on top of that. They even ran out of our individual beer brand we were drinking after the second one !!! And man, I am probably living in a different Planet, but, Dogs, I mean, loose Dogs, too many, all in their fancy costumes and hairstyles, walking under our table, on top of our feet, looking for a place to pee, about that for a nice meal time. Every single time I had a beer, it ran out, empty glass, I had to wait for considerable time for another one, which came not cold, and they had to go back more than once to get one…. Hummm ???? Food took a long time to arrive, even for Tacos ??????… If you love Dogs and you Love drinking beer at room temperature, and love trying different brands, you will have to after a couple, and have unlimited money, you will love the Place, which is by the way, just a concrete slab, like eating at a Golf Course Outdoor Gazebo almost. The food tasted very good, the Chef yesterday was good, delicious, but little portions, not his fault. If you live in a Social Bubble, you may like it, I know good cooking, from over 30 Countries, spend this money in a Ticket to anywhere, you will get a good deal. Two stars because the sweet Waiters. Spacious restaurant with seating available inside or out. On the outside; Umbrelled tables with great access to the gigantic tele- screen. Inside, welcoming and friendly; cool and refreshing. Many waitress could be seen. The food and service was excellent. Palona, or Paloma, was very helpful and a true professional. She was very knowledgeable, and bilingual. Surround sound, House Music was heard. Plenty of eye candy! Highly recommended 🇵🇪☘️🇵🇷 Returned today, the 11th for lunch. Sat outside under an Umbrelled table. Excellent views while waiting for the entree. Had Trout with potatoes and 2 GAUPA drinks. Excellent, as was before! Will be coming back again. Back, it's 17th of March, St. Patrick,'s Day. Ran the 5k, and reserved a outside Umbrelled table. The food and drinks were excellent. Always positive vibes!☘️🇵🇷 Returned yesterday with the same results. Excellent! Had Jolene as my servicer. Tuve la oportunidad de visitar Paulina Escanes en San Patricio Plaza y, aunque el lugar promete una experiencia culinaria atractiva, la realidad fue inconsistente.

Comenzamos con unos tiraditos que estuvieron bastante bien. Sin embargo, el verdadero protagonista de la noche fueron los Tacos Amigos: pedimos dos órdenes porque estaban realmente deliciosos. Sin duda, lo único que repetiría en una futura visita… si la hubiera.

Posteriormente ordenamos un flank steak con papas Welch. Pedí el término medium, pero la carne llegó casi bien cocida (well done) y completamente fría, al igual que las papas, lo que sugiere que el plato estuvo servido en cocina durante un tiempo antes de llegar a la mesa.

Mi pareja pidió un pollo empanado con pasta en salsa de limón, y fue decepcionante: la pasta estaba sobre cocida, con una textura gomosa, y el pollo estaba frío, con el empanado oscuro, señal de un aceite reutilizado varias veces.

Es lamentable que lo único destacable hayan sido los tacos de $10, cuando los platos principales, que son el atractivo del lugar, fallaron completamente.

El servicio fue correcto, pero no atento. Al llegar, permanecimos unos dos minutos de pie sin ser recibidos mientras el personal estaba de espaldas, doblando servilletas y conversando.

Comprendo que no se trata de un restaurante Michelin, pero el precio, el ambiente y su ubicación exigen mayor precisión y calidad en el servicio y la cocina. La primera impresión cuenta, y lamentablemente esta no invita a regresar, ni a este local ni a otros de la misma línea. Tienen mucho por mejorar.

I recently visited Paulina Escanes at San Patricio Plaza, and while the concept and location are promising, the overall experience was disappointing.

We started with the tiraditos, which were decent. However, the highlight of the evening was the Tacos Amigos – so good that we ordered a second round. They were absolutely delicious and honestly, the only thing I would ever go back for.

Next, we ordered the flank steak with Welch potatoes. I requested it medium, but it arrived nearly well-done and was completely cold, as were the potatoes. It felt like the plate had been sitting out for some time before being brought to our table.

My partner ordered a breaded chicken with lemon pasta, which was a letdown. The pasta was overcooked, chewy, and the chicken was cold with a burnt-looking breading, clearly from overused oil.

It’s unfortunate that the only standout item was a $10 taco appetizer, while the main courses, which are the supposed stars of the menu, were entirely underwhelming.

Service wasn’t rude, but it lacked the attentiveness expected in a place of this category. When we arrived, we stood at the entrance for nearly two minutes before being acknowledged, while staff had their backs turned, folding napkins and chatting.

While I understand it’s not a Michelin-starred restaurant, the pricing, ambiance, and location demand more attention to detail in both plating and service. First impressions matter, and sadly, this one ensures I won’t return – not to this location nor any other within the same brand. There’s a lot of room for...
