Pre ordered my lunch to go. On my way back to work in my navy uniform and as soon as I walked in the door I get a weird look from the guy in the front. He introduced himself as the manager and asked if I were picking up. I went to pay and he looked at me funny and then had the audacity to ask me if I knew "stolen valor" and it didn't register to me that he was accusing me of stealing my uniform for a discount I guess. He saw the shocked and pissed look on my face and decided to follow up with are you military and you can have a military discount. 😳 How rude a disrespectful. We live in a MILITARY town and I've been here for 10 years and have never been asked if I stole my uniform. What a clown. I won't be coming back to this restaurant and it's so convenient because I live right up the street. 1 star because I can't give 0 and I wish I new who owned the store. You can keep you little 75 cent discount and I'll gladly pay full price up the street. Of all the people in America I walk into a Mexican restaurant and am accused of stolen valor... please.. let's not get into stolen...

I have been a regular at this Mexican gem, and every visit has been a delightful surprise! The versatility of the menu ensures that every experience is a unique culinary adventure. From tacos bursting with flavor to enchiladas oozing with cheesy goodness, there's always something new to savor. What sets this place apart, though, is the warm and inviting atmosphere. The moment you step in, you're greeted by a comforting ambiance that makes you feel right at home. The décor and lighting create an intimate setting that's perfect for any occasion, whether it's a casual lunch or a special celebration. The staff are exceptional - friendly, attentive, and always ready with great recommendations. They truly add to the overall experience, making each visit memorable. If you're a fan of Mexican cuisine and love trying new dishes, this restaurant is an absolute must-visit. It's become my go-to spot for amazing food and cozy vibes. Don't miss out on this...

I use to eat here all the time as a child with my family. I tried to bring my daughter here for the same experience. I am absolutely disgusted with every experience I have here. My immediate family and friends are all treated the same every time we come here and we tip very well. They ask questions, “Big or small meal today?” “Anything else than water you’d like to drink?” As if they feel I am cheap and treat me so. The waiters talk behind your back as if you can’t understand or hear them. With my serval experiences it led to me trying other Mexican restaurants and I have now found two that not only can I enjoy my food, but my service as well. I highly recommend any one I know to chose a Mexican restaurant elsewhere and I will continue to redirect anyone else who is looking for a quality experience to drive down the road 5 miles heading towards HWY 90 South...

Service was fast and friendly, no complaints. Katherine L. took good care of us. Food came out fast. Salsa was on the salty side. The grilled skirt steak was perfectly cooked, very tasty. But the chimichanga was more like a burrito, soft and not crunchy. Beans and rice were lukewarm. The worst item on both our dishes was the "guacamole". Nasty green puree, slimy and nasty tasting. I've never gotten "guacamole" like this in any other Mexican restaurant. It's going to keep us from returning. See pic.

A must go Mexican restaurant! The service was good, the food was fantastic, what more can you need? The portions were HUGE! You will definitely be needing a to-go box. There is also a military discount (10%) which is great that they support the troops. We got the California burrito and the combo meal. Each one was super flavorful and delicious. They do offer free salsa and chips which is great! Overall, a must go for Mexican food in gulfport!
