Sipps Bar Gulfport — Restaurant in Gulfport

This bar was a fun little gem close to the hotel I was staying in. I was really impressed with the aphtmosphere and the patrons were great as well.

The bartender was friendly enough but the drinks were a bit steep. There's a few other bars I'd head to before I visited here in the future but if you're near and need a place to grab a drink, it's still a great choice.

Update 9/12: I walked into the bar with someone who is a regular patron. This was my second time visiting Gulfport and having enjoyed myself last time I wanted to return. The bartender who I was told is Kyle addressed the person I was with vulgarity in what was an attempt to be witty, then proceeded to do the same to me, seeing I was clearly taken aback he reiterated it again to me. Needless to say with no greeting, hospitality, or warmth I let him know that I was in fact fine and didn't need a drink expecting him to become aware that the way he addressed us was extremely insulting, instead he walked away mumbling a comment. We proceeded to leave.

There's not a chance in hell I'll ever send another flight crew here and I won't be returning.

This place is fabulous! I always love coming here. It's always a good time.

The only issue I have is with one of the bartenders. I've heard from many people that there is a bartender with red hair that is extremely rude and unprofessional.

Last night I finally had an interaction with him, and now I see why so many people have an issue with him.

I figured people were probably overly drunk and he cut them off and they were upset about it; however, last night my first drink of the night was great, but my 2nd and 3rd drink had ZERO alcohol in it. I made sure to have others taste it to confirm this was the case.

I would give this place a 5 star review if it weren't for this rude bartender inside. The bartender outside was very kind and professional.

Disappointing, to say the least. I wanted to check the place out since I was told by my friends who used to go there before that it was such a nice and friendly establishment for the LGBTQ+. Well, I went in, and I immediately felt out of place. I was just looking around, confused and a bit nervous, and no one wanted to help me. They were chatting with each other and paid no attention to me, and it's not like they couldn't since during the time I was there, which was around 7 to 8 in the afternoon, there was hardly anyone there. I counted only about 7 people there, so I just left.
