Potbelly — Restaurant in Gurnee

Recently had an order with 3 sandwiches 2 soups 1 mac n cheese & 2 shakes. They were getting all the sandwiches mixed up with other orders, no organization as sandwiches just pile up. Got out to car finally & saw no soups went back in to get them, they didn't even have them ready. The guy called everything out & no one made items! Then I got home & my mom asks where's the macaroni & cheese? I didn't realize they didn't add that either. Now today I go to pic up a to go order for Uber eats & the guy says yeah we got it & continues waiting on 2 customers! After second one i asked do u know how long he says it's not ready so cancel it!!! He was extremely rude & he was lying because the order was indeed there. I had to leave & call uber to explain & so they could get another driver. Mind you i got there 15 min after the order came up, how could a sandwich take longer than 15 min! I ordered a sandwich @ Gurnee,IL location at around 8:00 pm i think…So, I went there and i was polite to order but the guy who assisted me just stared at me, didn’t even say “Hi, Welcome to Potbelly! What can I get for u”. He seems like he was in a bad mood or idk….or maybe because i look hispanic or he is just racist I really don’t know. Like he is not interested assisting people like me….even if i didn’t do anything wrong. Good thing the other person who assisted me was nice and made me feel i am welcome there….and then i saw the black guy again at the cashier section …gave the black lady a different treatment…he was nice to that lady. So idk what did i do wrong to be treated that way….it’s just not fair. I mean i know i’m not that special but as a customer i just wanna feel the fair treatment and feel welcome to buy at their location. Holy hell does this place need some work. The staff is horribley trained. The soup we ordered was forgotten about by the staff, and then we were forgotten about. When i finally spoke up about not getting my soup the employee handed me 2 cold soups. When i noticed it was cold (and i mean i stuck my finger in it and there was no warmth what so ever) i asked if they had any warm soup. I was not the only person with this issue there was 5 other customers with the same issue. Well update im now sitting at the table still waiting for my soup 15 min later and guess what... NO SOUP!!! C'mon man get your s@$# together. Tighten it up and get some competent people to understand hot and cold and food standards. Oh and i still dont have any soup out of the 3 choices.
