Do not go here for just a cup of coffee.
I stood in line for several minutes behind bagel orders and when I got to the counter told the woman that I was just getting a cup of coffee. She said “ok,” and nothing more. I assumed she was just there to pull bagels, being behind the bagel counter. I moved forward in line and when I got to the register the (different) woman behind the register asked if I was “John”(or some other name for the order she had in her hand) I said no, but the guy behind me in line said yes, that’s me. The cashier asked if I could let the guy go ahead of me. I said “all I want is a coffee, can I do that quickly?” The cashier told me I had to go back to the bagel counter to order, behind several people who had been in line. I waited, got to the counter, and asked for a medium coffee. Now the bagel woman tells me I have to get my cup from the cashier, which means waiting longer in the same line. By now I am losing my patience a bit and a manager turns to ask what going on. I explain that I’ve been shuttled between the two counters and I just want a coffee. He is impatient, and Tells me in the future all order should be taken at the bagel counter. At this point I remind the bagel lady that I did mention to her that all I wanted was a coffee. She had an opportunity at that point to take my order and didn’t. And, even if that is the place to order a coffee, why would you have to continue to wait in line to pay to get a cup? Furthermore, when I got to the register the first time why could she have not just given me the cup? The coffee was all self serve so the manager did hand me a cup for coffee on him. I appreciate the gesture, but at no point did anyone take any responsibility for the confusion or apologize to me for the poor experience. I did serve myself coffee. Unfortunately the pitcher labelled 1/2 & 1/2 was definitely milk and Sugar and equal are the only sweeteners (not my preference but okay). Other customers at the self service area were also disappointed by the lack of 1/2 & 1/2 but I wasn’t about to go stand in line again. Won’t...
Read moreWe have visited this location several times for pickup orders, placed online. Usually things go fine but this time was not great. We tried to place the order online ahead of time like we usually do for a scheduled pickup. However the app placed the order to be ready as soon as possible, and we raced to go get it.
We are almost an hour away so the food and coffee drinks sat getting cold for an hour. We tried to call the location multiple times but no one picked up. We tried to update the order online but there was no record of the order. No record in the app, in my account, and no confirmation email.
When we got there the employees did not care that no one had answered the phone (they just shrugged) and that the food had been just sitting there for presumably an hour. No one seemed phased we had no receipt or proof of purchase. Unfortunately we will try...
Read moreUsed to be my favorite spot to get breakfast on the weekend, I got Einstein's at least once a week for the past 2 years. Lately been very disappointed. The past 3 times I've gone (I always do a mobile pick up order) they have COMPLETELY screwed up my sandwich. I am a vegetarian and always get the Garden Avocado, the past 3 times they have given me a bacon sandwich... that doesn't even have Avocado on it so idk how they could possibly mistaken that. I thought 1 time was a fluke, okay it happens. The next 2 after that is just ridiculous. That's on me though for not checking my sandwich before I leave the store, but i feel i should be able to assume I got the right sandwich I ordered.
