Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Guthrie

Update 3/29/2025: Sad to say this place is worse than before. Do not get the fish sandwich if you value your taste buds and money. Bread was black inside, no cheese as I requested, pitiful pickles, and I don't know what kind of fish it's supposed to be but I spit it out immediately. What's happening with the management of this place?

I'm not sure what's going on with this Sonic lately, but the breakfast burritos and grilled cheese sandwiches have been horrible! Something is definitely different about the bread being used to make the grilled cheese sandwiches (it seems like it's full of air pockets and has a strange taste to it as if it's not really bread but potato based) and the eggs used in the breakfast burritos is a travesty of crumbled up tasteless garbage with way too much pepper and salt. I used to go to this Sonic versus the other one because the incompetency over there is unreal but I'm not throwing my hard earned money away morning after morning (and don't get me started on how bad the sweet tea...

Always a great experience here! The people are always nice and the ones that aren't very nice usually don't last long. That is something that I, as a small-business owner, can certainly appreciate and understand the value of. When someone is paying attention to keeping good faces/personalities employed at the location they are in charge of maintaining, that is definitely a sign of a good manager and business. Customer service- decency and kindness are the biggest impressions that individual employees can give the customer, no matter the job position.

By far, the best Sonic for the food quality and employees.

I have had many issues with this branch, but this time they put the icing on the cake. We ordered 2 sonic cheeseburgers with mustard. My wife brings me home two small burgers with mustard and mayo. They didn’t even have the patty’s or cheeses on it. I was seriously just to pieces of bread with lettuce and tomato and mayo and mustard. When I brought back the burgers the manager defended her staff and didn’t said that I didn’t purches cheese.
