I absolutely LOVE going to Tipsy Artist! Everyone that works there makes me feel like I matter, always willing to answer any questions and help anyone who asks. So when I read the negative review that upset me. I was at that show during that Victorian Walk. She was accused of stopping her class and rudely talking to potential customers. THIS DID NOT HAPPEN. The class did not stop until it was time to let the paintings dry. During this time she was talking to and assisting customers/painters. We break for 20 minutes then come back and finish our paintings. I can tell you that once she gets on stage and the class starts the fun begins, everyone is learning, relaxing and having fun. She gives detailed instructions on how to paint. The classes are amazing! I tell everyone to attend Tipsy Artist classes. I have so many paintings hanging all over my home and work. I am very excited and proud of being a part of Tipsy Artist community. I encourage everyone to come and learn...
Read moreNot what I expected. I have done other paint and drink events around the country and this one was mediocre at best. You’re not really painting a piece of art. It’s tracing and paint by numbers basically. Everyone does their own design which adds to the chaos. They do provide the templates to trace from. The instructor did explain how to mix colors (white and red make pink), but that was it. (Ran out of white Paint near the end of the night). Some people didn’t even finish. The bar and restaurant was a joke. They charged for a bowl of Fritos and chili. So sad. Bartender was rude and literally chased a girl down for her $3 and left a line of people at the bar. Not worth the $50 price. Just go to hobby lobby and get a canvas and paint at home. YouTube it if you...
Read moreI have to totally disagree with the negative post about last year during the Victorian Walk. I was there the entire evening from start to finish and never did she stop and leave the stage once the painting began. A 20 minute break where we take a few to let the paint dry a bit, she visits and answers any questions the patrons may have. She has and always is helpful, smiling and wants everyone to enjoy their time. I have been to many of her painting classes and have never seen or heard of anything like this. This is a gal that LOVES what she does and wants to share her knowledge about art. I give nothing but 5 stars to the Tipsy Artist and I recommend everyone come and enjoy a Tipsy Artist party from kids to adults it...
