John's Fried Chicken — Restaurant in Guttenberg

Usually I do not make reviews at the first impression, it would not be fair, I went to this place 4 times, what I have to say is that,the staff is rude and with no empathy with the costumer, you also have to pay attention when you get to the register , the prices changed, the employees wear the mask under the chin (not all of them) there is a man working there who when he speaks takes off his mask🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️, and my last time there was someone from the staff eating on the checkout counter(it was bizarre,sooo Tarantino's ), the chicken is fine For others it is just another Dominican food business, I want to clarify that it is not the food, it is the bad attention and attitude...

Fried chicken was pretty dry but I don’t mind that at all! I thought it was delicious! I had the #1 and it came with 1 wing, 1 thigh and 1 leg with your side of rice. They have about four different kinds of rice and I chose the rice with black beans. I wish I would’ve gone with the orange rice with vegetables, that one tasted a lot better than the rice with black beans. The rice with black beans was extremely salty. So is there crunchy rice, very salty. All in all I did love the chicken:) It was my first time and next time I go, I will only get the fries chicken and grilled plantain with the side...

The sign in front is very misleading I went in to buy fried chicken and found that they did not sell "Fried Chicken" only South American style Spanish food, being that I was hungry I bought a plate of yellow rice red beans and some roast pork and that was "Average at Best"!! If you are looking for fried chicken, ironically John's Fried Chicken is not the place. "The sign says that the place has been there for years, but if they've been open and successful for all these years, Why hasn't anyone ever told them about their Bait & Swich sign.
