Every day we have rushed to the little bakery for breakfast, then rushed to the bus stop, pretty much ignoring most of the establishments along the very well established Bergenline Ave, the major commercial vein along the Hudson District of New Jersey. Today on our early walk back from the bus stop, we noticed an Italian restaurant across the street just off our turn to go "home". It had great curb appeal, so Luke checked it out online and made a reservation for 7:15. We walked over and were greeted at the door by the owner and chef. In addition to the perfect ambiance, we were treated to the most incredible dishes ever! We had cheesy garlic bread, then Luke had pepperoni pizza. He said it was the best he's ever had. I ordered the Mia Bella baked chicken and pasta dish. So delicious!! THEN the owner talked us into the Tiramisu! Seriously, the best I've ever tasted! I don't know how often you might get up to Guttenberg, NJ, but I'd be willing to bet it would be worth your time to take a bus over to Jersey and eat at @Bella...

My family and I came here not knowing what to expect. We wanted to celebrate a milestone and were looking for something different. Boy, did we make a good choice. The moment you walk in you are transported to Italy. The small decorations on the wall, the Italian music playing on the speakers. The smell of pasta sauce. The service was excellent, the food amazing! And the prices VERY affordable. One detail, my kids ordered white pizza, we thought it was four cheese but right on the menu it said roccatta. Unfortunately they did not like it. The owner asks "wants a matter, you dont like" I explained what occurred, with no hesitation he says "no you wanna cheese, regular pizza?"
