I’m absolutely blown away!! God is good all the time!! The manager or owner I forget their name helped my mother today retrieve video footage showing and proving how much I absolutely love and adore my son!! My son’s mother recently accused me (a couple weeks ago when I had visitation with my son and my mother) of hitting or hurting my son at the Dunkin’ Donuts here in Hackensack!! I now have ANOTHER DCP&P CASE!! Seems every single time my son gets a bump or scratch or bruise she calls on me!! Every single time my sons mother makes herself out to look dumb and I show and prove that I love my son more then I love myself or even life in general!! And I’m not petty and I’m not gonna tit for tat with her but today the manager or owner Marexis I think my mom said her name was went above and beyond helping my mom get footage showing that I am a loving father and didn’t and wouldn’t ever hurt my son!! I fear for my sons well being and no one will help me!! He lives in a house with his mother, his grandmother and grand father and uncle!! It’s a kinda crowded house it’s hectic and I know from what he repeats to me that it’s probably chaotic and full of drama and he’s probably exposed to all kinds of toxicity and violence and inappropriate behavior cause he a lot of the time acts out in such ways he could have only learned from where he lives!! I have 50/50 custody but she has residential custody I only get him 18hrs out of a month and any and every time he acts out in school or gets a bump or bruise I’m accused of being the problem or culprit SMH!! The police won’t help me the courts won’t help me DCP&P won’t help me and I’m at a loss on what to do except pray and pray really hard for the safety of my child and his wellbeing!!! But the manager or owner of this Dunkin was an Angel and by the grace of God she was able to help my mother and I get video surveillance PROOF showing how I didn’t do anything at all there was no altercation andddddd I love him very very much by seeing our interaction!! I felt so so good and blessed that even a perfect stranger could see that from a short video and gave me validation that at least someone else can see it plane as day!! I called on Monday July 22nd for info on a custom order (photos on donuts) that I needed for July 31st and was told by Ashley that I needed to order them a week in advance and bring in a photo. Ok cool, I went in on Wednesday (a week before) to find out I had to email the picture and that they only needed 48 hours for the order. The young lady (who was nice) kept on giving me the wrong info after I asked “are you sure?” And only then she confirmed the opposite of what she told me. Again, not mad yet since it’s probably not that common but they should be better trained on the info if it’s a service they offer.
I payed them for the order that day and proceeded to email them the photo with SPECIFICALLY what I wanted which was: 1 doz picture donuts 1/2 doz BLUE “4” donuts WITH sprinkles 1/2 doz RED “4” donuts WITH sprinkles 1/2 doz chocolate “4” donuts WITH sprinkles
I called to confirm, spoke to a girl on the phone AND a manager letting them know my son loves Spider-Man and has his heart set on blue & red donuts. She confirmed
The 31st comes and I get a call from Andrea letting me know that they for some reason made the red donuts PINK and there were no blue donuts. I go there to see that the sugar Pictures on more then half the donuts were broken, patched up cut unevenly and had finger marks on them. More then half of them went straight to the garbage. THANKFULLY Andrea was able to get me the red and blue donuts made correctly later that day. I canceled my appointments, called his school and let them know id be coming after lunch with my son’s birthday Donuts. This was a terrible experience. The only thing that made it better was Andrea’s compassion and diligence and trying to rectify the issue. They truly need to get their act together and give Andrea a raise. I STOOD THERE AS THEY ATTENDED EVERY CUSTOMER ON LINE, TWICE OVER, AND IGNORED THE PEOPLE ON THE SIDE WAITING FOR THEIR ON THE GO ORDER. I STOOD THERE AND WATCHED THEM IGNORE THE MACHNE PRINTING OUT THE ORDERS. WHEN I ASKED THEM WHERE MY ORDER WAS, I WAS TOLD TO WAIT WHILE THEY ATTENDED THE CUSTOMERS AS IF I WASN'T ALREADY A PAYING CUSTOMER. I TOLD HIM I'VE ALREADY WAITED 15 MINS. I HAVE TO GO. THAT'S THE POINT OF A ON THE GO ORDER. I HEARD THE EMPLOYEE SAY "THEN LEAVE" WHEN HE WAS TURINING HIS BACK TO ME BUT WHEN I WENT OFF ON HIM AND DEMANDED HIM TO REPEAT WHAT HE JUST SAID TO ME, HE CLAIMS HE SAID "JUST WAIT". THE ISSUE ISN'T THE LINE, IT'S THE FACT THAT THEY'RE UNDERSTAFFED THAT MORNING. THE CORRECT COURSE OF ACTION WOULD'VE BEEN TO APOLOGIZE FOR THE DELAY AND GET TO THE OVERDUE ORDERS. NOT TALK BACK TO CUSTOMERS WAITING 20 MINS FOR THEIR ORDER. THATS EXCESSIVE AND UNACCEPTABLE. AVOID THIS PLACE. GO ANYWHERE ELSE.
