Plaza Bagels & Deli — Restaurant in Hackensack

Bagels are delicious here. However staff is rude and impolite to customers.... particularly the ladies. In the 8 months I've been going there no one has every mentioned to me a 5 dollar minimum for credit cards and today that my husband went and got me a bagel they decided to tell him that and charged 5.00 for a 1.75 bagel. My husband forgot his mask at home but still had a face covering and maintained social distance. I called to speak with the manager and explained that even if he wasn't wearing a mask but still had a face covering didn't mean he could upcharge something I was purchasing before with no problem. The woman behind the counter then proceeded to lie to me once I went to the store saying my husband was being rude and upset and stormed out of the store. This woman is always rude to customers and honestly people walk in there all the time without masks...don't social distance...and don't follow the instructions of only 4 people allowed in the store and to use gloves or hand sanitizer when opening the fridge. I'm disappointed in the service as I have worked as a customer service employee. They should really consider hiring new staff or having a serious talk with these women that work there. Manger also told me he didn't have time to argue with me about the problem....told me he was too busy. When I went there he was no where to be found and staff...

I used to go to this bagel shop frequently. I’ve stopped going poor customer service and lousy food. Please don’t ever order from the older woman wearing glasses. You will have to repeat the order frequently and she will still get it wrong. She will also give you the wrong order and is totally oblivious. The owner is also rude and this really isn’t the greatest bagel shop ever. I’ve been to cleaner and friendlier atmospheres whose food tastes better. I will never return...

Bagels are fresh staff is friendly . Prices don't match the menu online though by a lot over $4. 10.95 online 14.10 actual.

The bag they put the bagels in is not a normal bag for bagels is a paper carry bag so your bagels are going to collect dust / whatever

Looked clean and well kept. If the prices matched and they used 2 bags they could probably be a 5 star ...
