Wawa — Restaurant in Hackensack

I went in for a cup of coffee this morning. The most amazing wonderful staff I have ever seen employed by Wawa is at this location. My coffee with a double shot of espresso was prepared Devine. Outside of the coffee the attention to detail from the front of the house cashiers to the back of the house, especially the blond and dark hair gentleman you will see pictured below. Those two are the reason I am sitting in my car out side of this location before I drive off to make sure there willingness to assist customers with a smile on their faces is noticed. And to WAWA corporate you extremely lucky to have those two as a part of your team. I had a bad experience, I Came to this place with my younger brother to get cigarettes for my dad ( we both brother don't smoke ) So we know less about this stuff Not knowing that there is an age of 21 in NJ to by a cigarette we thought it was 18 So they asked him for his ID he showed it they said oh you have 2 months to turn 21 so he realized that , he came back to the car and told me so I got in with my ID to buy it mind you I'm 31 years old, the cashier went to inside an office and came back The manager came to me saying I refuse the sale for you, I showed her my ID THAT I'm 31 and told her that was my younger brother and we didn't know about the age because we don't smoke and it's for my dad and my dad only smoke it from Wawa saying for some reason it's always fresh. Clean store and friendly attendants and staff. This one of the better Wawa's that I've been too. If you are stopping by to fill up on gas, it's never overly crowded and the service is professional and reasonable quick. The shop is always well stocked and their subs are always tasty. They are on the small side so you many want to grab two if you are especially hungry. They freshly made and don't have the best presentation but they're delicious. Since COVID, I haven't stoped by as much as I use too but I'm glad you can still get stuff from their store delivered via Uber Eats. They pick and pack your items very securely.
