Excellent hoagies/food for the price! A long time food business should know how to practice food safety! Would have gotten more stars had I not witnessed horrible food service practices that caused me to say NOPE…don’t feel like getting sick to day! I witnessed the following: Wipes sweat from head with gloves on, proceeds to handle meat products, problem with slicer removes gloves, fixes slicer, hands are black DOES NOT WASH hands but proceeds to put same gloves she now wiped sweat off to put her dirty hands back in used gloves to finish sandwich. Customer goes to pay she removes her dirty hands from the now cross contaminated gloves to handle money…..STILL does not change into CLEAN gloves instead puts the same contaminated gloves on! ServeSafe classes are a NJ Requirement for food handlers, perhaps the employees here need to be schooled on serve safe food practices because currently they are risking contaminating the public and should be ashamed to think it’s ok to risk peoples lives. Proper agencies will...
Read morethis place has the worst discusting selfish owner Ive ever worked for . Her husband is a kind person , dont see why they are together . First they use very slimy turkey , many complains about it, 2nd there tomatoes they use are rotting and she makes us take the mold out to use them I have a picture of them, theres ants by the slicer and they never wear gloves touching everything then the food ewww, I can imagine what the customers catch . Owner skimps on her meat , and everything is microwaved. Not to mention no flavor at all. And her 6 footers and 3 footers are priced high for nothing. Delicious is far from what they are with the crappy meat they use. Poor husband has to be in kitchen 7 days a week at 70 years old while she sits in an office thinking shes all pretty. Poor guy..... Oh worst of all she wont hire any guys or people of different nature but she hires an illegal Person when Americans cant find work mhhh wonder why, well overall this place hides there...
Read moreI can not understand the bad reviews. Maybe they where from a different time or era. I work at a local chocolate factory and for the last year have been ordering them almost every Saturday lunch. Within 2 weeks they knew my name and recognized me on the phone. Fresh bread when they run out they close , thin sliced lettuce , tomato ,onion and a giant load of meat and cheese. Order a half . The first time I ordered I got the" disaster" a whole sub . It was as big as my head and lasted 4 meals . It must have had 2 lbs. of meat and cheese on it . Be pleasant when you order and tell them what you want and you will not be disappointed. If you want a a gourmet sub that you can order by number like "I want a # 3 with no onion" order from subway THAT'S WHERE YOU BELONG and you'll probably be happy and guess what you will not have to interact with another human being .
Love you guy's at the Sub Shack!!! Keep up the great work and ignore the...
