Me and my friends went here today and the service was TERRIBLE! The waiter took 30-40 min to come take our order after we had to go address to other employees that we were waiting to order. She takes our order and our friend got nachos to go while two of us got regular food… how did our food come out before hers and 15 min after finally her nachos came after she had told them she didn’t want them anymore because at this point we had been waiting a whole hour. She left.. the other two of us… tried to eat our food and it was gross. Oh not to mention I asked her to bring hotsauce please, she didn’t ask if we needed anything else I had to ask her as she brought the food out… she said ok, do you think she came back? No, 10min go by I had to then walk back inside and ask for the hot sauce myself. The hot sauce was EXPIRED FROM 2023, DISGUSTING! it was so clumped up that when I flipped the bottle upside down the sauce wouldn’t even come out. Notice in the pictures I finally after the 3rd time shaking it and unclogging it (no I didn’t eat it) it was a completely different color. The waiter didn’t come check on us, ask us how the food, didn’t offer another drink that was visibly gone didn’t offer checks as she went inside and outside 5 times walking past us to see we had been sitting there waiting for an additional 20-30min not eating … Me and my friends come here frequently but this place has gone down hill and was awful. No this wasn’t the first bad experience here either but it was by far the WORST. I got here at 1:40pm and didn’t leave until almost 5pm because that’s how much we was waiting around. Yal got to do better, choose your servers wisely and check the dates on your supplies! Me and my friends have all been in the restuarant buisness and RARELY do we complain. BUT...

I've read many reviews and had a few referrals to this restaurant. Perhaps I'm a little more discriminating than my peers and other reviewers but I had a slightly 'different' experience at this restaurant. Let me start with atmosphere. The restaurant is traditionally decorated like most Mexican restaurants. Nothing bad mind you, just nothing that stands out. PAR.

The food. They quickly brought tortilla chips and salsa. The chips were decent but not served warm like many other places. The salsa tasted like watered down tomato puree - TASTELESS. I ordered the seafood fajitas. The portion was adequate as expected. Taste was not overly flavorful but perhaps geared more toward a less discriminate clientele. The shrimp seemed a bit tough and slightly overcooked, perhaps they sauted precooked shrimp, but the scallops were cooked to perfection! The vegetables were also cooked well, firm and hot without being mushy. Overall, again PAR.

Now the service. After we were seated a young man introduced himself as our server and handed us our menus. We order our drinks and he promptly came back to take our order. He kinda stood there waiting while we examined the menu. We felt a little rushed and asked for a few minutes. After he came back, we ordered and food was served very quickly. While we ate, he never bother to ask us if we needed more to drink, sauces or anything else. He simply dissapeared! When we were all but finished he returned and asked and I quote "are you done yet?" REALLY??!! Never even offered a box for leftovers. Someone else retrieved our plates and the bill was dropped on the table as if to rush us out. Never asked if we wanted anything else. Service, POOR. There are better mexican restaurants nearby which are BETTER in all. We...

Note to others. If the first thing you see when entering an establishment is a dead flower basket, choose somewhere else.

This was my third and final trip to this establishment. Someone should impress on the staff that a negative impression left on the patrons will adversely affect your business.

It took a few minutes for someone to come up and seat us. It took roughly 9 minutes for a waitress to even come to our table to take our drink and food order. Our waitress was completely unfriendly. She never checked on us to see if we wanted more chips and salsa. Not once. Our food took a very long time to come out so we sat there staring at each other with no chips and salsa and empty drinks. The waitress was very short with us. That's ugly.

After the food finally came out, she never checked to see if we needed another drink. She was standing in an area with other waitresses talking instead of checking on her tables. That's terrible service. There was a lot of yelling and laughing coming out of the kitchen. Are there managers on site here?

The margarita was so bad it was sent back. I've never seen my significant other NOT power through a margarita even if it's not the best. This one was impossible to block the pain and drink.

The food was the best of the three times I've been there. However, with the disgusting bathrooms and extremely rude/unfriendly staff, it's still an unpleasant experience.

All jokes aside, this place has REALLY gone down hill over the years. The staff could GREATLY benefit from seeing how professional the waiting staffs are at the Chambersburg/Shippensburg Mexican Restaurants. If you don't want to be at work, stay the hell home. If managers can't train and manage a staff....then YIKES, you have...
