This was one of the most conflicting restaurant experiences I've ever had. I came in on August 27th and ordered a Cobb Salad to go. It took at least an hour for the salad to be made - I could tell they were busy but that is insane for putting a salad together. Apart from the time the staff were very nice to customers but were so nasty to each other. I felt really awkward the entire time I sat waiting because the staff members kept bickering to each other. A younger employee kept asking a couple older ladies to help out in some way - she even gave suggestions like: "you can chop tomatoes" or "can you make this sandwich" and the older ladies responded incredibly unprofessionally. They wouldn't respond/talk to each other, the older female employees would stop and gossip to each other about their coworker who was right next to them. I remember the younger woman asking why they were talking about her. The whole environment felt insanely toxic and as a customer I was incredibly uncomfortable witnessing all of it.
Luckily the Cobb Salad was actually incredibly delicious-one of the best I've had. Despite this it is hard to imagine ever coming back because of the toxic environment and waiting for an hour to get...
Read moreI don't often leave negative reviews, as I know everywhere has their bad days. We placed an order and were told 20-25 minutes. Showed up 35 minutes later to pick it up, and were told "we'll give it to you when it's ready." I had a screaming baby in the car and figured that since we had already surpassed the time estimate we'd been given, it was reasonable to ask about how long that would be. I got snapped at in a very public and disorienting way for simply asking. The sandwiches are amazing, but I wanted to post this as a reminder to be kind to people. The town population is growing at an alarming rate and I am sure you've had your fair share of entitled visitors, but I was simply just asking as a mom of a crying baby. Will probably take my business elsewhere for a...
Read moreI love sandwiches, and this is the place to go for it. They're delicious. The work environment can seem a bit stressed sometimes, so make sure you tip well and practice patience and understanding. They're busy, their space to work seems a bit small (probably adds stress) and the sandwiches are complicated goodness- meaning each one takes time to make. Tip...
