Extremely disappointing. I’m a truck driver so I placed an order for take out that was taking a bit long, when I went to check on my order it’s wasn’t ready so I requested a refund because it’s been already 30 mins and my truck was sitting in the fuel isle and it would be very unfair to have other drivers wait on me so long. While waiting to be refunded the young man came to me and told me I must leave my name and number and I will be refunded, I was shocked I’ve never heard of this in my life so I told him there’s no way I’m gonna leave without proof of my refund. He went to his manager ( Kendall Johnson) who was behind the counter cooking, the young man then returned and stated the same thing which I find to be highly ridiculous. I asked to speak to the manager while waiting her minion ( Lavonda C) came over and started to ask me for my name and phone number I said I asked for the manger she then responded I’m the acting manager ( rotf) and with a bad attitude said and I quote “ have you ever went anywhere and got a cash refund from using a debit card “ I answered yes and she said and I quote “ your a lier because nobody does that the only other thing that’s done is that they would ask you to insert your card back into the system and they would refund you that way “ ( lol) so I asked her have me insert my card then and do it that way she then said “ our company doesn’t do that” ( omg) I then began to realize I’m really dealing with a nutt who thinks she knows it all and trust me you will get no where dealing with a fool. Read moreI would give this place a -0 if possible as my family and I attempted to dine at this Denny’s numerous of times only because it’s the only restaurant that be open and Haines City and after two other attempts we said we’re not coming back today we decided let’s just go what could possibly go wrong server told us ahead of time there’s only one cook which is understandable a lot of restaurants are struggling with employees but additional to that which is not a problem their server literally had three table tops to take care of she cannot remember to bring a salad before the meal even if the meal took that long she brought the food and my daughters nachos; which is basically nachos, throw some meat on top, cheese sauce and salsa and sour cream came about 20 minutes after our food she forgot the salad entirely even after mentioning oh yeah and she forgot I asked her to take it off but the worst part is a cockroach crawling on the table by the time my daughter got her nachos. So I’m telling her get up let’s get out. There’s a roach here we got to get up. the roach crawling around everywhere. I asked the server, “ hey we need to go can I get my check and a to go box? There’s a cockroach crawling on our table she said OK give me a minute I’m sorry and she continued taking care of other 2 tables. I almost went back to get my own to-go box because it was literally right there next to her she gives us our check and we pay the full amount. Still feeling disgusted and nope no apologies nothing it’s pretty disgusting don’t eat there. Daughter still left hungry waited hour for nachos just to get disgusted. Straight sad. Then was greeted with what do I want. Got home to find out not all of my order was present. So I called to get my order corrected. The nasty female on the phone said what is it that you are supposed to be missing because I personally packed it myself. So I proceeded to tell her the items that I was missing. With her smart mouth she said did I check under the pancakes because that’s where they always are. For someone who doesn’t work at Dennys or hasn’t had takeout from there wouldn’t automatically know this, first. Second, the nasty attitude was completely unnecessary. Third, since she personally packed everything then she personally forgot my pancakes with bananas as well as personally packed burnt turkey bacon. So I should then take it personal that she personally forgot items, put burnt food, had a nasty attitude, made me use unnecessary gas and time.
