La Fe Mexican Bakery — Restaurant in Haines City

I have stopped before to get pastries, especially for Mother's Day for the last 3 years. i had always loved the pastries/ conchas and service. Yesterday i went in between 10:30 and 11:00 as my family loves conchas and pastries for a brunch we do every year. The lady that was there must have been in a bad mood. I did not even get a hello as i entered, or how can i help you. I know to get a tray to grab the pastries as i was getting 20. I asked her about prices, and she reluctantly asked which ones sort of gave me some prices. Then, when i went to pay, she kept on spilling the sugar over me, and you would have thought that after the first time, she would have been more careful, but it continued. This was the worst service ever. I even told my family that i was not going back. i did not say anything to her because i did not want to ruin my and my family's celebration because it was going to get me in a bad mood. Not to mention, a few of the pastries were stale. I waited until today to put in my review. I always like yo support small businesses, but this time, it had left me a bad taste in my mouth. Always had excellent service. The lady should have stayed home if she was not up to provide services. Thank you for all the other times the service and product were great! I wanted to love this place, i love supporting small businesses and when my now 15 year old daughter expressed to me that she wanted a tres leche cake for her birthday i found La Fe bakery and called in right away, i ordered 1 day before her birthday to be ready the next day around 5 p.m and i even worked our birthday plans around picking up the cake as this would be the perfect ending to her special day, the man who took my cake order was very nice and accommodating but to my surprise when i arrived at the bakery to pick up the cake with the birthday girl there was no cake even though my order was written down on an order ticket with my daughters name and all, i was told basically there was no communication about orders made. Im extremely disappointed and i feel that this is completely unprofessional, my daughter was upset and we were out of time to get a nice tres leche cake...

We moved from Tallahassee to Poinciana in 2005 I have not stop going to Don Chano for cakes bread and more La Fe bakery is the best in central Florida. This is a family own bakery but the customer service is top notch never will you walk in store without a hello or are you ready check out and thank you come again greet on the phone you will still get the same customer service Will keep coming till I I move far customer since...
