Taqueria Don Gonzalo — Restaurant in Haines City

We just recently moved to Haines City and we're exploring all the holes in wall, and this one has easily beaten every other single restaurant.

For starters the food is fantastic, it's freshly made, they make the food quickly and it's all at an extremely fair price. I am not exaggerating when I say this place is so good we damn near come here once or twice a week.

Their tacos have fair portions and they let you prepare them exactly how you want to at it's own station.

Their quesadillas have lots of actually melted cheese, and their birra quesadillas are my wife's favorite thing on earth, theres cheesecake and other dessert options up front, my wife really enjoyed the chocolate cake.

Sometimes they have live music to really bring a nice comforting experience.

This is quite the enticing resteraunt. Taqueria Don Gonzalez offers a variety of ethnic dishes ranging from the ever so ubiquitous burrito to the unfrequented tortas. When you enter the resteraunt, you are immediately serenaded with a guitar playing mucisian with euphonious tonality setting the atmosphere for your dining. The service is of the highest quality. One of my waitresses was very patient with my table's extensive order and still had all of our orders correct despite our prodigious table size. The food during my visit was brought out in a timely manner and surpassed the expectations of my table members. Whilst the food was inexpensive, the entrees remained palatable. I love this restaurant, I've been here many times and have always had good experiences with the waitress', but last Saturday I came here to eat with my family. Our waitress forgot our drinks and was taking forever to come back and take our order.but before we had a chance to call her to our table, she caused a whole scene in front of the restaurant while arguing and cussing at these other 2 waitresses who looked way younger than her. We could even hear her shouting from the other side of the restaurant, even with the music playing. After the arguement our waitress left without taking care of our order. We were later served by one of the younger waitresses though, who provided much better service than the waitress we had before.
