Nana's Food For You — Restaurant in Hallandale Beach

This a different kind of place to grab your prepared meals.

The parking lot is a little small but they do deliver for a small fee if you're in the area. Once inside you're surrounded by open coolers. The meals are fresh, tasty and affordable.

There is breakfast items, sides to supplement meals and drinks available. Most items are under $8 unless you are dealing with a premium protein. There is steak, mashed potatoes and pasta items.

One thing to mention is that the food is tasty but is not necessarily diet food. They don't list the calories or ingredients on the packaging. Not a big deal to me but if you are counting calories, you'll have to do it manually or else where. I do find the portions to be just on the spot. It's satisfying but not huge portion.

You can also get meals made in bulk. They can customize your order a little. And they till make it all fresh on the same day of pickup. That way you food is fresh and good for 7 days.

I work two jobs and attend college full-time, so having enough food to feed me through the week can be challenging. Nana’s has basically made that “challenge” obsolete. Other reviews here already talked about the food. They’re delicious, well-portioned, and easy to prepare. Nothing else to note there. What made me write this was the customer service at the Hallandale Beach location. On the day my order was to be processed, their oven apparently broke. Nana’s staff promptly texted me and kept me informed. Also, they had my order ready 3 hours early. They even gave me a freshly baked empanada while I waited for pickup. Oh, and before I forget - my box of meals was less than half the price of a national competitor’s product. Incredible. Keep up the great work,...
