Decided to try this place as one person said it was authentic Italian . Ya authentic to your local grocery freezer section . Let’s break it down . I ordered the tour of Italy . The fettuccini Alfredo tasted just like Rice A Roni herb butter noodles minus the herbs . I tasted milk and I tasted butter the cheese was non existent. It’s a flour milk butter mixture that cheap restaurants use so they can save on their cheese . Ok so that was disappointing so on to the lasagna ….. I couldn’t find it under all that sauce and when I did get to dig it out it was not much too it . The sauce tasted very very sweet almost as if they poured tons of sugar into it . The chicken Parmesan was the worse of this whole entree . Tasted boiled and without flavor . I missed the flavors of garlic and Parmesan cheese all together . I felt as if I had microwaved a banquet tv dinner in the microwave . The bread tasted like stale pizza dough was not soft and the texture lacked moisture . So authentic … ? If that’s authentic then they might want to move to Italy and show them what they are serving . This would be a disgrace to the country of Italy and I feel bad their name is associated with this horrible horrible food . Makes me wonder if they do buy RIce A Roni for their fettuccine’s . My husband had pasta with clams and he said the noodles were too hard and their was hard pieces of clam or grit in them . I suggest going to the Olive Garden at least the flavors their don’t remind you of...
Read moreExplosively delicious! Terrific service! The stuffed mushrooms in that spinach sauce was so good I forgot who I was for a minute. The flavor and the juice coming out from the stuffed cap boosted the flavor and made it more intense. Helpful hint, if you have more than two people in your group, order two. What can I say about the pizza? I have been to new york, Manhattan, and this pizza is the real thing. Cheesy, peperoni, just enough grease and if you aren't folding it in half to eat, shame on you. No where in East Texas is anywhere close to new york style pizza except for Gino's! Our server was amazing. We will for sure be adding Gino's to our list of places to dine in or pick up to eat. Go go go! If you want some good pizza or Italian...

It was our go-to Italian spot growing up and it was my my first date spot with my now wife, and without it around, life just wasn’t as vibrant as it was before. One day, I was lamenting that Uncle Joe’s was gone and what I’d do for their chicken parm, and my friend said “oh, wait, you don’t know? They’ve got a new location!” To say that I was ecstatic to learn that Gino’s was rebuilt from the ashes would be a massive understatement. We packed up that same day, drove to Hallsville, and ordered what is the exact same rolls, Alfredo sauce, and chicken parmigiana that I got so many times in my youth....
